Nice and Clean, Great staff

Put a hold on my money for 200 a night in case u use the room service but they released the hold at the end of your stay if unused. at 6.nights stay that was $1200 that we could not use for our vacation. We were not told prior to booking

I’ve stayed here many times. Although there are not many restaurants nearby, it’s a clean street and very close to Grand Central Station and Rockefeller Plaza. Rooms are a decent size for New York.

There is no proper breakfast room. For $45 you have to make do with a table at the bar lounge, a buffet cramed into a little room, there is no omelet station. And the waiters making so much noise around you as they bus the tables (because the space is so small), that you can barely have a conversation. I’ve been staying here for so many years, that I’ve seen the quality of service go down a lot. This is now a 3.5 star hotel with 5 star prices

Fantastic location within walking distance to all local attractions and many subway lines. Beautiful room on the 14th floor with a city view (Kit really looked after us at check in). Byredo toiletries and very comfortable king size double beds. Lovely lobby and bar. Great size of bedroom and bathroom. Would happily stay here again.

Would be great to have some complimentary water in the rooms.

everything was great in terms of amenities, room size, aesthetic, staff helping etc.

only thing that could be improved were 3 things: - Wasn't in love with the view from the room - water is typically free in hotels across the world, where as in the US that's not the case. Would've liked if this sort of cultural nuance could be communicated more openly and clearly to avoid extra expenditure. - in New York (another cultural nuance) all hotels are mandated to apply an amenities charge on behalf of the city. Would've preferred if a direct charge like this wasn't hidden/nested while booking the accommodation

Well located in Midtown - far enough from the chaos of Time Square. Very helpful and friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable - renovated room. I will return at the same hotel on my next trip.

Water bottles not included - had to pay for Intercon’s house water bottles. This is unacceptable in my mind. Everywhere I travelled around the world, free water is offered except for the high-end brands. The delivery fee of 9$ for room service is greedy especially when the prices of food are already inflated 2 to 3 times and there’s a 23% gratuity. Maybe for corporate guests that’s acceptable when you are not paying for your bills but for tourists this is taking advantage of us and doesn’t entice guests to support the hotel’s food and beverage department. NYC hotel prices have gone through the roof but that’s the new normal….

Location was amazing! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and very accommodating. Even provided us with a decent sized fridge to our room to store our own food and drinks in vs using their mini bar.

The only thing I really didn’t like was having to use my room key to take the elevator anytime we needed to use it. The first time we got in there we couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t move until another hotel guest showed us that we needed to use our room key and then select the floor we needed to go too. We weren’t told we needed to use the room key for this upon check in.

Room was quite good , the location was good , the breakfast was very nice and plenty. I must say that the gesture of the Chef for the bacon was splendid. When I did not want to have turkey bacon and closed the lid , the Chef asked me the reason and brought my table the bacon I was looking for.

Bathroom was rather small and our room was not cleaned up by the house keeping on the third day of our stay. Although I paid the Hotel+all the related cost in advance I was charged an Amenity Fee+its tax USD 181,32 anyway which I still did not understand what was it for and the reseption desk's explanation was not satisfactory!

I loved the location. Everything was walking distance. I also loved the comfort of the room/beds. Loved how welcoming the entrance was. Kitt at the front desk was amazing! To top it off it was raining in New York and the hotel provided complementary umbrellas. We were still able to explore the city regardless of the rain.

The slightly overpriced breakfast. Yes it’s a buffet. But It was a basic breakfast. There are many walking distance breakfast spot for a fraction of the cost…

Nice and large lobby - Good sized rooms.

Cant keep water in mini bar as no room and hotel would charge extra to make room in mini bar for personal use.. Seriously???? That sucks when one is paying $500 per night to stay at a hotel..Very poor
