I liked the luxury feel of the hotel. I liked how it was clean and the staff were friendly as well. I enjoyed the $30 credit for food as well as the tickets for the big bus tour and the Madame Tussaud’s wax museum. It was really fun!

I did not like that I had extra bedding for my sofa bed in the closet but it was dirty with hair on it. I also did not like the vale service while checking out. I understand the system was down at that time but I think that there should be an alternate way to pay for parking when the computer system is down.

I loved being right in the heart of Times Square. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable. Staff was very kind and helpful. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Times Square.

The noise in the hallway and from lower levels of the hotel that sounded like they were in the room with me made it difficult to sleep. The noise from outside is to be expected but the noise in the hallways was unexpected.

First of all the location of the hotel is perfect. In the middle of times square and near to station shops theaters and etc. Even the hotel is big and sometimes can be crowded; not any inconvenience at all. There is about 8-9 elevators and even you do not wait more than 30 second as they are operating very fast. The room I have booked is corner room(which is larger than standart room--about 42 sqm); the room is same as shown on the photos. There is a big king bed; one sofa to sit and one more seat. It is a large room and we were staying 2 adults and our child 11 years; and it was really enough. The staff working are always helpful; the room service was very good; they arrange your request in a very short time even there are many rooms. About the reservation office; every question i asked through booking before our stay; they always replied in a short time and arranged all my requests. Great!! We stayed 7 days andWe were totaly very satisfied for our stay. I totaly recomend this hotel if you are looking for a comfortable stay.

central location but noise in rooms

Location, location, location, and some staff like the two Steve’s in the restaurant. We are returning guest. I have been staying at the hotel way over 30 years and the advantages trump the disadvantages.

De music in the restaurant is way too shrill, the worst part is Wednesday night with live music some kind of Yoko Onno imitation of a woman screaming. The lowest price for breakfast is $68 per person, excluding tax and a tip of 22%. That would bring our breakfast cost for three weeks close to $4000. Obviously we went elsewhere and that’s not comfortable. Also, we asked for front view. OK that cost more, but view from the side? After all, we were booked as always for three weeks. The guy was very nice and gave us the best possible room, well … the worst possible view at the back of the hotel.

My favorite things about the property is the quality of the hotel itself and the kindness of the staff. It is located at the heart of Times Square, it is clean, efficient, and everyone is beyond helpful!

The first time I stayed here even though you are right in Times Square it was quiet. This time we had a room that had two adjoining doors. The guys next door spoke so loud it woke my friend up multiple times in the night. And we didn’t fall asleep until after 1am. It has nothing to do with the hotel, but I was surprised we could hear him.

Hotel is at a perfect location, room is big and breakfast is ok. The most impress is the checkin staff, she is very kind, nice and helpful.

Not really clean but not too bad.

Great sized room, hotel was clean, and the bar is a great place to chill. The location is what we like most and this was our second stay at the Marriott Marquis NY. On this occasion, I have to give a shout out to the Concierge, Michael. I had some very bad news mid-stay and needed to make contact with my airline to arrange an emergency flight home. Not only was Michael amenable to assisting me, but he was human and had a heart of gold at my time of need!

Premium views were a little pricey based on what you have already paid, but guessing its to be expected in NY.

Fantastic location right in the heart of the town. Great view of Times Square from the room. Room overall was great, comfortable bed and more than average space.

Only very minor complaint is that in a 5 star American hotel I had expected a good quality coffee machine. Machine was very basic but ok but we had to ask for refill cartridges. We also had to ask housekeeping to replenish toilet roll on a couple of occasions

Room was excellent. Catering was fine.

Reception was poor. An hour to check in is ridiculous. Slow to check out as well with no opportunity for fast track.
