Location was good in terms of it being in the heart of New York and allowing good connection to other areas/the main sites to see in New York. Good gym facilities. Decent room, very nice staff that was welcoming on the first day, gave me a bottle of wine for my birthday and in general were very accommodating, allowing my parents to extend the check out in their room for an extra hour free of charge. Restaurant for breakfast good, tea good.

My parents had an issue with the toilet not flushing properly on the first day or two. We both had an issue with the soap dispenser next to the sink not really working properly. In the last couple of days of my stay the water didn’t go down properly in my sink. There was an unexpected fire alarm on one of the days. In general while the location being central is good in terms of connection to the city, it is very loud and noisy in that area - I suppose it goes with the lay of the land in central New York but it’s just something to note if and when staying at the hotel.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The check-in and check-out processes were swift, making our stay hassle-free. The room was clean, comfortable and it was surprisingly spacious for New York, making it an ideal choice for a family. The room lived up to the pictures we saw online. The NH team is incredibly helpful and ensures that you receive the best service possible. The location is excellent, being close to Fifth Avenue, Grand Central Terminal, which provided us with easy access to the heart of the city. The convenience of having renowned restaurants within walking distance added a delightful touch to our stay.

The gym is quite small and with five people already there when I entered, it felt a bit crowded.

Centrally located to connect to the rest of NYC. The Serafina Italian restaurant was very good and breakfast was fantastic. Staff were amazing. The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful. The hotel reception was calming and welcoming with a beautiful fragrance that meets you on arrival. The beauty of the reception area takes you away from confining yourself to your room. It was spacious with relaxing furniture all around and newspaper as well.

Beautiful lobby, a good amount of space in the room (really nice when you’re two friends traveling together), comfortable beds, quiet, plenty of counters space around the bathroom sink.

The lighting was odd. It seemed impossible to control the light on each nightstand independently. More importantly, there was no light near the mirror in the bathroom, so it was quite dim.

The hotel's location in mid-town is super convenient; it's close to MTA underground and buses, near Bryant Park, and easy walks to art galleries, shopping and other sights. We had a two-bed room, and the room was not super big, but had all the conveniences of a closet, iron, fridge etc. We were offered a super luxurious bathrobe and slippers. The double blinds were effective to keep out the bright sun in the morning. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Wifi was good. The lobby was a nice place to hang out as you made plans for the day and/or have a drink before retiring for the evening. The staff were super friendly, and helpful.

We didn't avail any of the services at the hotel so cannot make comments to them. Of course if the room had been slightly larger, that would be great, but its New York, so this point is mute.

The hotel was very well located in central Manhattan. Only a shirt walk to main attractions like grand central station and the Empire State Building. It was easily accessible with the subway from the JFK airport. The room was very comfortable and clean. I had an issue with the light in the closet not turning off and right in my face at night but I know from talking to reception that it's not the standard and I would still recommend this hotel. The staff was extremely nice, pleasant, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was very enjoyable and sufficient to tackle a day of walking and sightseeing.

Small issue with my room with lights not turning off in the night. Air conditioning a little too loud to sleep. My bedroom window was tiny but I don't think you can get much bigger in NYC. I would still recommend this hotel.

Wonderful location and easy to get to from all the major train and bus stations in New York. The hotel lobby was so beautiful, smelt amazing and was very festive with lovely decorations and they even had live jazz music around the piano area in the evening of our stay which the staff informed us about upon check in. The staff were amazing too very helpful and friendly and we were able to store baggage before and after check in which was great! We only stayed one night in a junior suite as it had a sofa bed in a separate living area which was great for our son. The room itself was clean and spacious for a New York hotel room and the bathroom was very large and beautiful with a bath/shower and a separate full shower right next to it. Overall loved staying here and would stay here again if there was a good price deal.

If the room had not been on offer due to a Black Friday deal it would have been too expensive for the one nights stay. Even with the deal it was still more expensive than a one nights stay in a 5 star central london hotel that offers a high end spa package deal included with the price. I don’t understand why it’s so expensive but the stay was still enjoyable.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs. The room whilst small was fine. The beds were a little bit narrow but quite comfartable. The room was a bit small but otherwisw very good and also very clean.

Very nice hotel within walking distance to grand central and bryant park (and many more if you are ok with walking more than 20 min). One of the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen and that was a big plus. There’s a nice little bar downstairs and live music (mostly jazz) 4 nights a week. Bartender Phil was both a great mixologist and great company. I was traveling with my 10 year old daughter, so I can highly reccomend to women who are looking to stay at a nice & safe neighborhood.

Small rooms with no balconies but I guess that’s normal in NY. And no room service.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive; everything was well-maintained and tidy. During the day, there was a lovely aroma that made the atmosphere even more pleasant. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. I also appreciated the daily housekeeping, which kept my room in perfect condition throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience!
