Location is excellent. Perfect distance from Time Square to avoid all the crowds but close enough to walk there. Hotel was neat and tidy. Everything was clean. The coffee machine made up to some extent for the lack of a restaurant and there are so many places close by to grab a bite that it doesn't matter. We enjoyed it! A big bonus is that it's virtual across Bryant Park which usually has something happening there.

The coffee machine was great but there was only one e so it got a bit busy and was a bit cramped as the mezzanine is a bit small. I was a little dissapointed there was no fridge in the room but suspect I could have got one if I needed - saw staff delivering one to another room.

We stayed for 5 nights, family trip. The location of the hotel is top, 5 minutes walk, if that much, from Grand Central Station, several food options in the surrounding area. Both elevators were working, check-in and check-out very diligent, room was cleaned daily and always very tidy. Hot beverages are complementary in the lobby mezzanine, which is very good. On the last day, also complementary, the hotel kept our luggage in the luggage room, proper room, staff only access and luggage tagged for safety. There is a computer and printer in the mezzanine but the printer was out of order, which was not an issue, the reception kindly printed our boarding passes. Very friendly and helpful staff. We found the value good for money since there is no breakfast served at the hotel. I would come back to this hotel.

There could be a mini fridge in the room. No view from our room, which is understandable since not all rooms and floors can have a nice view. However, since we were on the 7th facing back, the noise from all the machines on the ground floor outside the hotel (believe to be AC machines) were very audible in the room. We slept fine, it was just a little hard to fall asleep at the beginning.

An ideal place as a base for exploring NYC. Great location, proximity to the subway are undeniable advantages. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Special greetings to Frank - the concierge. If you need anything in NYC, this is the person you should turn to first. (E.g.: airport transfers, restaurant recommendations etc. ). Frontesk also very competent. There was no problem with late check-out or cancellation of wrong order. Room service - flawless. Cofee desk on Mezzanine level is also a nice thing, although in the morning you can spend several minutes chatting in line. Room as expected. Very comfortable beds. On the 25th and 5th floor vending machine with ice. Top for those choosing rooms: if you're on high floors avoid those that don't face 40'th street. The view is poor and there is a constant hum of fans from nearby buildings.

The hotel is renovating one of its two elevators until October 31, 2024. Morning rush hour is a guaranteed wait of several minutes. In fact, when we arrived there was a notice in the elevator that the renovation was to last until the end of August, but during our stay this date was extended.

Rooms were always clean and up to standard. Location is perfect in Manhattan. M floor was also fantastic with the coffee making facilities etc. Everyone in the hotel was lovely, both staff and guests - all polite and kind and willing to help. We asked for a twin room change as we are siblings and had a king bed, when possible this was changed with us for us and was no trouble for the reception team at all. The bellman in charge of cases and valet service was also very kind and willing to go above and beyond. Thank you :)

Lifts were not great as one did tend to be shut at a time due to renovations but still manageable!

The location is the best! The staff was very nice and helpful except for the man in charge of the luggage. The room was clean and good size. The beds and linen were very comfortable. The bathroom was also good size and clean. What was good was that the room was in the corner of the building so it was not so much noise from people walking by, nor traffic.

When we visited it was a renovation going on with the elevators. Sometimes we had to wait very long for the elevator and a few times we even had to take the stairs when we waited very long. This was not good. We missed a fridge in the room. It said we should have a room with a view. It was a view into another building. What was good was that the room was in the corner of the building so it was not so much noise from people walking by, nor traffic.

Location is great 5-10min walk to Times Square 5 min walk to the Empire State Building. Great location very central to everything. Windows opened a couple of cm was great to be able to let some fresh air in and also be able to know if I needed an extra jacket or not.

Took a while to adjust to the car horns. Can hear it in the room all night long and that’s coming from living on a main busy road in Australia city.

Perfect location, walking distance from Rockefeller Center, Times Square and other important locations. Clean and well-equipped rooms. We appreciate that you can have a coffee, tea or hot chocolate on the Mezzanine floor. Special mention to Willie, who helped us find a transfer to the airport and stored our luggage for a few hours after checking out.

There’s only one lift as the second one is being fixed or updated and the wait can sometimes be too long. Also, the AC can be quite noisy even when it’s off.

The location and the friendliness of the staff were undoubtedly the highlights of the stay.

There is nothing negative, just one detail that there could be some kind of facility at breakfast, currently only coffee and tea are available to guests. It could be interesting to offer guests some food or breakfast vouchers.

Location is excellent. Room size (2 double beds kings room) is little bit tight if you do have 3 suitcases. But surely better than other similar hotels in 5th avenue. Friendly staff. Specifically Frank is absolutely great and he is Go-To person

No bottled water in the room as you need to fill your own bottle from the lobby including the coffee/tea. Vending machine dont have an option for Milk. Bit of juggle if you wanted to make tea. During August, one of the life was not working, so with one lift its a bit of wait to get in.

The location is perfect, 2min to Bryant park and major attractions, also with metro and bus stop very close. The personnel were very nice and answered all of our queries and even helped us to book a transfer to the airport. The room is as advertised, not very big but for new York and the price was good.

Can't say much as it was what we were expecting. A bit old and that only one elevator was working so in the morning it took some time to get to the first floor but they were doing some work on the other one.
