The location is absolutely perfect. It is close enough to the center of town and much of the attractions without you getting stuck in traffic. The room was clean and easy to maintain. The shower was amazing! Plenty of hot water and the best water pressure I've ever had at a hotel. Loved the shower head as it had a few settings and all of them maintained the same water pressure. Office staff were very friendly and eager to help.

The only 2 things I wasn't a fan of is the size of the room, it is on the small side, but not extremely small. And the phone didn't work on our room with the front desk staff telling me they've had the phones worked on several times throughout the hotel with no resolution.

tbh I liked everything ab Carmel like inside building wise , from the lobby to the gyms and much more to do there in your own space. the staffs there, were some what a little too shady for me.. but foremost it’s a relaxing place

I just didn’t like the roaches , which I kno roaches is everywhere especially by lots of trees and it was raining sort off also, but I just didn’t like the fact that it was getting inside the rooms the building period itself.. think they need a person that’s decent enough to clean that up, not just leave it there.. last thing for me was the staff most definitely in the breakfast lounge.. was rude asf, food wasn’t all that great they served it cold just because it’s free, doesn’t mean treat guest w unsatisfied service omg..

I was pleasantly surprised at the accommodations for the price - everything worked, was clean, and was comfortable, The pool was really nice, and the breakfast was outstanding.

If I had to be really nitpicky and critical, the only thing I could mention is the sink was a bit outdated (worn) - but not bad enough to complain about, especially for the nice price

I like that I was given a room on the ground floor as requested

Breakfast was less than expected.. When I stayed before they had more options..

The room was clean and affordable. I didn't have time to try breakfast so cannot speak to that. The bed was so comfortable that I slept through the night.

The room was a little warm because the air conditioner over the bathroom sink didn't push the cool/cold air out very well. The bathroom was cold but the room was warm.

I really like the swimming pool they have. And that is important when you have grandchildren there. I have stayed here many times, and the new owners are really trying to spruce things up. It is in a great location.

This is a basic hotel, but it's great value for the money, and renovations are being done.

Although very reasonably priced (65 $ for a huge room with two king size beds), the Carmel Inn has all the avantages of a luxury hotel. - free parking - free breakfast - swimming pool - restaurant & bar - spacious lobby - five minute walk to historic downtown

Nothing, it was perfect

Beds were very comfy, larger in room fridge then most hotels, very clean facilities. Breakfast was available and limited selection but did have waffles and sausage! Would definitely stay again!!

A little dated but well maintained and clean

I would recommend this place to any one the stay was very pleasant nice to relax at the pool there breakfast was good the location was good the staff was great . Jaime was the greatest she was so helpful and friendly I be back.

Check in/check out was fast and easy. At breakfast, we were offered hot food.

We had an upstairs room. Parking was kind of far and we had a lot of luggage. The bathroom was dirty (floor and toilet). Pool was not clean.
