Our stay at the InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort was very enjoyable. From the moment we arrived in the early evening, we were greeted by the stunning presence of the hotel’s grand entrance and lobby, along with a warm welcome from the staff and a delicious ginger-flavoured refreshment. The resort’s beachfront location is absolutely perfect, offering plenty of sun loungers and parasols for guests to enjoy. The pools were equally inviting, with ample space to relax without ever feeling crowded. The children’s water play area was a highlight for our family and provided endless fun. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, with a wide variety of options catering to every palate, including a dedicated children’s section and fantastic Vietnamese coffee on tap. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully laid out, providing plenty of space to store belongings and soak in the openness of the resort. Borrowing bicycles to explore the property was another highlight, as we enjoyed discovering little hidden spots like the herb garden. The complimentary shuttle service to the night markets added to the convenience and fun of our stay. Every member of staff we encountered was helpful and attentive, ensuring our experience was seamless from start to finish. InterContinental Phu Quoc is a gem, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and family-friendly getaway.

While the resort offers all the facilities and amenities you could need, it is quite large, and with that comes a slightly less personal feel. Given the size and scale of the property, it can feel a bit more impersonal. However, this is simply an observation and not something that detracts from the overall quality of the resort.

Lots of free activities and good facilities.

Food quality at breakfast wasn’t as good as Crown Plaza Hotel, the coffee was very weak and we had to wait each morning for a table for breakfast, which is unheard of and I have stayed at many hotels all over the world. Loc Tran, the restaurant manager at Lava and Sora & Umi was great, helped us get a table at the lounge as he knew we were pressed for time during breakfast, and even helped us get stronger coffee at Sora & Umi after we complained, and helped us get late checkout! He’s a gem!

Food. Staff supportive and very nice, always smile, room clean (im not sure but they clean my room 2-3 times a day, overall safe for kid Pizza and vietnamese food exellent. Warm serve, welcome, early check in, easy book taxi. Clean beach, my family vacation very happy, my kid love every location in resort

Lava restaurant taste a bit not suitable with us, may be about style of cooking. Coffee 6/10

The hotel is beautiful and very clean.

Crowded breakfast – we’ve never experienced waiting in line for 15 minutes just to have breakfast. The staff is friendly and tries their best, but they don’t speak the language well, so you often get the wrong order. Also, the wait for orders on the beach is very long. Without Google Translate, it’s hard to communicate with the waiters, and with some, it’s almost impossible. The best English speakers are at the reception.

Our stay at the InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort was an unforgettable experience, marked by exceptional service, a variety of activities for adults and kids, and breathtaking ocean views. The highlight of our visit was the exquisite Japanese cuisine prepared by Chef Keny. The resort’s attention to detail and the warm hospitality of the staff made our stay truly special. I highly recommend this resort!

large modern room, comfortable and large bed, large wardrobe and beautiful bathroom, Nespresso coffee machine in the room, cleanliness at an enviable level, the entire content of the hotel is at a high level, from food to comfortable sunbeds on the beach, beautiful pools that are busy but not everything can to be ideal

there are still a lot of staff who speak very bad English, but they make up for it with their kindness

Five star hotel with pretty affordable price. Nice breakfast and nice staffs. Though we encountered some technical problems (the AC was snot working properly and the handle of the small table was broken), the staffs and technicians helped us solve these problems timely.

The restaurant was so good. There were many kinds of food and taste was so good. Especially, there was a very small kids club inside the restaurant. While we had a breakfast, my kid could play there. It was so convenient. Also, there were lots of sweeties such as chocolate cookie and various kinds of fruits, so she liked it. If we have another chance, we will stay there again.

Sometimes, they did't make up our bed until 4 pm. We stayed 5 nights, and I think they didn't vacuum on the floor.. We could see a very small piece of glass. It was so sorry about that.

Amazing breakfast and great location for first timer. The hotel was beautiful with well-maintained beach. We especially loved the infinity pool and all the staffs were very friendly and attentive. Definitely 10/10 :)

Booking via booking.com seems to be much more expensive than booking via a local agent...

Staff were friendly and attentive! Service was second to none at the restraunts. Julie at reception made everything run smoothly with great communication. Junior suite has an fantastic view, huge shower area, bath with a view and comfortable bed. Kay did a great cocktail making class which is worth visiting up on the 19th floor to then stay for some sensational picture perfect sunsets.

Pool could have been deeper in spots to allow for actual swimming as you can wade waist deep through the whole pool.
