The location of the hotel is the best and we had access to both historical sites and nice restaurants. The staff were great and welcoming. The room was nice and spacious. The breakfast was nice, though it could have been much better if some fresh fruit were served.

The hotel has no elevator and the stairs were narrow, so a bit inconvenient. Also, I am not sure if it was only in our room or all rooms had this problem. It is just that the flush in the bathroom was making lots of noise. It was as if it made the flush sound every time someone in any other rooms would flush the toilet!! I could hear the flush sound every other minutes which was disturbing and made me wake up several times in the middle of night.

Reception was helpful with directions and a map. Place was clean.

Attendant at breakfast was a bit surly, I pointed out that there was no milk for cereal. Maybe we didn’t understand each other. This place was hard to find. Riding a motorcycle, I don’t have a gps directing me.

Didn’t realise breakfast was included so that was a very nice surprise and everyone who slept in the beds said they were very comfortable.

The sofa bed was quite bumpy and deformed so that it sagged significantly from the chest down. Also a lot of us didn’t like that all the breakfast plates and cutlery was single use, disposable.

The room was clean the personnel were nice.

The TV is small and the coffee maker makes lousy coffee. The screaming and running hockey players in the halls were very annoying.

Near the "cité de l'énergie" museum, very friendly staff, clean and no frills.

When going to a hotel with kids it would be nice to have a game room, park, swing set or pool or some type of communal area to bring the kids.

The location was at a nice junction between South Shawinigan and Shawinigan proper, including walkable distances to nice panoramic scenery; even faster by car since it's near the highway. Though we were late for breakfast, the kitchen staff was courteous and generous by inviting us pack toast, yogurt and fruit for the road!

It was a bummer that there was no potable water (it was a widespread problem in the municipality) however the staff showed us the water cooler to fill up our bottles.

Location was great, lots of parking. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast area was tidy and food itself was tasty and sufficient. Absolutely will stay here again when I’m back in Shawinigan. Felt very safe as a solo female motorcyclist.

The AC unit made a weird whirring noise which made it hard to get to sleep initially. Room 220.
