Loved the location it was right on the beach. It was really secure and private, the pool was excellent and the service was amazing. It is a genuine all inclusive, even the restaurants with the 3 course meals and premium spirits, no hidden charges. We loved the 24/7 coffee shop where you can get fresh juices and smoothies.

We liked everything. It was great value for money. There could have been more options for vegetarian as I was quite limited being gluten intolerant, they didn't have any gluten free bread despite saying they would. Very minor things considering as we had a lovely stay.

Spacious, inviting and stylish entrance. Food and beverages catered for many taste buds. Presentation of food was thoroughly inviting to the eye. The 24 hour cafe was my favourite as an early riser. The staff from reception, beach, restaurants, management, maids - outstanding. Would definitely return.

The disappointment was no mention of a live DJ playing loud house music! It took away from wanting a relaxing stay. Also, it appeared there were people coming in from outside to drink. Loud groups of people coming in for weekends creating a large amount of pool noise. Not idylic at all. Perhaps management could better control this.

The hotel is 10 mins drive from Montago Bay airport situated right on the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen. Soft white sand and crystal clear water. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much of a problem. The rooms with a balcony are huge and very comfortable. If you’re looking for a wild party this is not the place for you. There is a very chilled reales vibe about the hotel. Gentle reggae music is played during the day around the pool. There are activities to join in every day.

Safety is an issue in Jamaica and it is not safe to leave the hotel to wander around. Organised tours are fine however. If I had to complain about anything it would be the Sun loungers both at the pool and beach. They are not very comfortable. The food is good but not exceptional. Wish they had more seafood.

From the beginning of our group trip till the end we had the most amazing time. Upon our check in we were upgraded to a suite and that was able to accommodate group of three perfectly. We received room service everyday and appreciated it because it avoided us asking for additional towels or trash to be removed. Everywhere we went we were greeted by staff. Not many people were coming and going but the staff were very friendly and even remembered our names! Which was a beautiful thing. The pool is an attraction because it’s right there but my group and I found the beach to be way better than spending time at the pool. We also received service from the pool bar at the beach so that was very nice in not having to exit the beach for a drink. They do have designated smoking areas one in the beach and one outside of the lobby with nice benches, chairs, and an outside fan. The community outside the hotel was always very welcoming and made sure we were okay. They have a local store where we saw employees go as well and a smoke shop with good deals. All in all very calm quiet good staff willing to recommend good local spots where you can step off the resort.

Limited trash bins in the room. Didn’t see the pool getting clean as often as it should - given that it was a 24 hour access pool. Only met one staff member who seemed displeased with his position—- one of the lobby bar bartenders I didn’t catch his name but he was short and always had me wait. He would see me at the bar and leave me waiting to get his attention for over 5 minutes. At one point he walked off, left his post unattended and additional guests came looking for him. He could’ve at least said he was getting food and have another employee help attend the area. Found that off about him. This comment is not for the hotel but it seemed more like a couples resort attraction.

The room was a great size, the facilities were well maintained, most of the staff was pleasant and helpful, overall the food was good. The hotel was very close to the airport and walking distance to many things. The restaurant food choices were all good, and since its an all-inclusive you can order as much as you'd like. Thankfully I was able to get a great deal on booking.com which saved me about $1,000 in comparison to booking through the hotel.

The hotel needs more staff. One or two bartenders making drinks during the day for everyone at the pool and beach. One bartender at night making drinks for the entire hotel. Also in the cafe, only one person was working, there were one or two occasions were I had to wait about 15 minutes to get my order. The whole point of an all inclusive is for convenience and having everything readily available to you. Even at the restaurants, they could hire more people to make sure drinks are flowing, tables are cleaned off, etc.

-best location, right on the beach, very close to the airport. spectacular seaview from the room and well working AC. -boutique hotel with compact territory yet it didn't feel overcrowded. -main buffet restaurant food was great with variety of choices. and coffee shop was a useful addition to the main food options. -stable enough WIFI. -mini bar refills -many pillows -staff is accommodating

-seems like a fairly new hotel but is already warn out -when dinner is not served in the main buffet restaurant, 6th floor restaurant food is questionable in taste and options are super limited. -no sand rinsing station anywhere in the hotel, so one can't remove sand from the feet thus takes it to the lobby and the rooms. -no kettle in the room and not even one in the entire hotel to borrow. making tea is very testing. -blankets offered are thin with just 2 separate sheets. no duvet available, which makes sleeping uncomfortable.

Serene Atmosphere: The hotel's relatively smaller size ensures a peaceful environment, with fewer crowds and a more serene pool area. Good Beach Service: The beach service at the S Hotel is efficient and contributes to a comfortable and enjoyable beach experience.

Limited Food and Beverage Variety: The hotel lacks variety in its food and beverage options, especially noticeable at the poolside and during late-night dining, potentially limiting guests' culinary experiences. Insufficient Entertainment Options: The hotel could benefit from enhancing its entertainment offerings, such as introducing live reggae music or more diverse entertainment choices for guests. Dress Code Confusion: There were instances where the dress code seemed incongruent with the relaxed atmosphere, causing confusion and dissatisfaction among guests. Service Disparity with Tipping: While the staff are attentive, the service quality sometimes appears influenced by tipping, affecting the consistency of guest experiences.

I stayed at this hotel for my birthday 11/11-11/16. Hands down an amazing experience. The staff from Marlon the hotel manager to Taniel the doorman, Kay-La ay the front desk and Paula were attentive and accommodating. The food amazing- we ate at all 3 restaurants and the daily buffet! This hotel is well maintained and clean. The location is perfect for night life and dining. Kay-La was helpful getting us reservations for Marguerite’s a delicious restaurant for my birthday. I did the floating breakfast from the infinity pool. What an amazing view with optimal photo opportunities. I also had a detox wrap and massage at the Irie Spa which included 3- temperature controlled pools and a sauna. This was a true highlight and a luxurious experience. I look forward to returning next year. If you are planning a trip to Jamaica the S Hotel Montego Bay will not disappoint!

The location was amazing. Steps to a clean beach and the Hip Strip. Snorkeling along the pier was great. The food was amazing! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was big, beautiful,and had all the amenities.

The only negative was the bed was spring so I felt every movement of my husband, which would wake me up. But it was comfy.

the reception staff was extremly friendly, especially Andres! they have a lot of different food at the restaurants and we also really enjoyed the pool and beach area. the housekeeping did a great job as well & we loved the firework for new year‘s eve

the spa staff seemed to be really unhappy with their job. as a woman you‘ll get a lot of attention from male, also from male staff which was unprofessional when they asked for your phone number..
