On arrival given the option of an Eco clean, which meant that you were given tokens for your stay to use in the vending machines. Hotel very clean, clean towels daily. Free teabags...as a tea lover this was great. Free coffee as well. Breakfast was a buffet, good but limited choices. Staff were helpful and polite. Rooms were small, yet clean and comfortable. Hotel near the train station and various shops.
More choice for breakfast.

The location was very convenient. It would be difficult to get around without a car though.
The room that was given to me has a window that directly looks out onto the roof of the porte-cochère. Felt very claustrophobic and uneasy when looking out the window.

THE BATHROOM
I dropped the spoons many times from the cups which were set in the morning buffet. If the cups were more bigger or the spoons were more smaller , I wouldn’t drop the spoons from the cups.

Decent Jap breakfast spread. Good stop to rest for a road-trip across japan. Hotel has onsen and washing machines as well.

Great staff, comfortable room, good facilities, excellent housekeeping, very good breakfast, and good value given we stayed over the New Year period. 10 minute walk from the station. Ramen restaurants nearby, one 24 hours.
The location is jaw droppingly ugly. Steel mill, power station, electricity pylons and radio masts are the main view and the hotel itself is set among Pachinko parlours. This was reflected in the price so not a complaint. The main issue was the check in time at 3pm and the check out time of 10am and the heavy charge (1000 Yen per person per hour) for extensions. Will not use Hotel Route Inn given the problems this can cause although the hotel did look after our luggage for the 5 hours we had to wait (we landed early at Narita). Although it is an easy train ride into Chiba (200 Yen) better to stay in Chiba itself which is a pleasant place with a wonderful food hall in the basement in Sogo (unless you can get a really really low price for Route Inn Hamano).
