Good breakfast, normal, with some Japanese food and some western style: there were croissants and a toaster, margarine and jams, so that's enough for me; there was also scrambled egg and bacon. Coffee and orange juice. I went to the beach in Shimoda, it's a bit far but moving by car is fine, it's a good price, it's comfortable and it was to spend the whole day on the beach, I wasn't planning on spending a lot of time in the hotel. So I recommend it. I didn't use the thermal facilities so I can't comment on that. The parking lot is small but there are two additional parking lots nearby that belong to the hotel that is very good especially in Japan where parking is difficult and expensive.
The bathroom space is extremely narrow, a corpulent person cannot move well in. The staff did not speak English.

Breakfast was excellent. Paid Laundry is adequate. Free coffee in lobby. Excellent helpful staff. Easy location on main road. Free parking. Twin room is quite large. Very quiet. Everything worked. Happy. Would come back.
Could use another pillow. The bathroom is one of the smallest accounted on our travels and much too small for western people, Electrics turn off when you leave. Only Japanese TV.

Liked the breakfast, the staff, the in-house laundry facilities, free parking. The location was ok. Not many restaurants near.
Did not like the room smell. Typical of a smoking room just deodorised. Terrible. We had room 409 a few days earlier. That was perfect. But room 709 was terrible. All rooms have extremely small bathrooms. Smaller than a plane.
