The rooms are so comfortable and well-equipped. They have thought of everything! I really loved the in-room Jacuzzi and breakfast was great. (There aren't many places in the area open for breakfast, so I'd definitely recommend having it at the hotel.) Also, I recommend having the barbecue dinner one night as well as being sure to reserve your spot at the onsen. This place is so cool and the view of Mount Fuji from the hotel grounds is amazing!

I wish there were actual sheets and a duvet instead of sleeping bags. They lean into the "glamping" theme, but everything else in the rooms is super comfortable and the sleeping bag just didn't fit. I love camping and don't mind sleeping in my own sleeping bag, but I feel like they're hard to wash and I just didn't love it in a hotel setting.

It's a beautiful stay in Kawaguchiko. We came here with a guide cum driver, it's quite a distance to Mishima Station for JR train. There's a Jacuzzi within the room which we didn't got to utilize. We had to cook our own breakfast (it's glamping afterall) with ingredients provided, which we didn't aware. We had a morning train to catch hence were quite shock, afraid time was not enough. We enjoyed the cooking nonetheless with cosy weather and nice view. It's one of the best moment in Kawaguchiko despite the rush. Recommended to allocate some time in the morning to enjoy it.

The tents were lovely. We had two paos, one for two adults and one for two teenagers - I’m not sure I would have wanted to stay all four in one tent though that is possible. Enjoyed the afternoon of beer and freshly smoked nuts in the courtyard overlooking Mount Fuji. The highlight of the stay was the fab dinners - we really didn’t know what to expect, but we were delighted. ‘You choose a preferred time and at that time a member of the team delivers a box of delights, with great meat and veg, some of which is ready to eat with others needing barbecuing - but don’t worry about having to start bbq’s etc, they do all that for you! We stayed for two nights and each night was very different food. There was more food than the four of us could eat. The breakfasts were also fun to cook and tasty (a mix of toasted sandwiches, oranges for freshly squeezing and lovely soup that reminded me of my granny’s homemade soup!). During the day we went for a hike up Mount Ashiwada - a 4-6hr lovely walk from the campsite. Beware taxi’s in that area can be difficult to organise.

There’s no on-site shop / provision of snacks, so if you arrive early (especially with children!) you may find yourself hungry, though the BBQ will taste all the more enjoyable for it. Definitely one of the priciest of venues for our Japanese trip, though for a oucple of nights it was such a novel experience with didn’t regret making that a part of our trip.

Location is great, you can see Mt. Fuji from the site. I stay in the Pao and did not expect it's so spacious and comfy. The BBQ is interesting - staff was very helpful and showed me how to set up a charcoal fire; food is also impeccable. I went there to run the Kawaguchiko marathon and asked the reception for taxi booking. The hotel staff told me it's very hard to book a taxi now but someone from the site offered to give my a ride on the morning of the race day. I'm really really grateful for the amazing overall experience.

The view of Mt Fuji was amazing!! The tents were very cosy and warm. The BBQ dinner and toasties for breakfast were amazing. We were provided so much food. The staff set up the BBQ and we enjoyed the meal in our ‘dinning tent’ next to a lovely fire. It was about 2.4km out of town but we were able to take the Blue line bus to the property and walked about 800m from the bus stop.

All great. The shower was about twitchy to get the right temperature.

Ambiance and decor was elevated and well appointed. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was amazing! Onsen was closed for the season but the room had a jacuzzi in it. Loved the dinner served to us in our villa- with a charcoal grill stoked for us ready to go. The food was excellent quality. The breakfast was amazing too and with a view of Mt. Fuji from inside the lodge. They space out breakfast reservations so everyone gets a chance at the view. Also the staff arranged for a perfect canoe trip with a local guide. And on our return to the station all cabs were booked so they offered us their shuttle.

Hard to think of anything. We were really well taken care of.

We stayed in the tent. It was a good experience as different from standard hotel rooms. It is spacious for up to 4 adults or family with 3kids. Would be good to have afew more outdoor activities stations.

It would be good to have a covered area leading to the bathroom from the tent. When it rains, it was abit of a challenge to get to the bathroom. But again, it’s meant to be tent stay so I guess, to be closer to the feel of “camping”, this is considered a “luxury” stay :)

It felt like a luxurious experience. Breakfast in conservatory/indoor terrace with mt Fuji view was amazing. Dinner was great and having a roast chicken cooked for us whilst we used grill meant we could still eat something whilst waiting for food to cook. Having a private jacuzzi was very cool. We did the starry night tour and saw 2 shooting stars after the tour! The host of that day was very kind, helpful and interesting.

We started our day sight seeing before arriving, and it was stressful trying to find a taxi in a remote location. We had no cellular signal to ring a taxi to take us to venue due to our esim plan. It would be great if there was an instant messaging service with the hotel that used internet only, so we could have asked hotel to arrange a taxi for us. The bedroom was cold still despite the hotels best efforts to keep it warm. Maybe give customers the choice to have a proper winters duvet within the room

Very unique room designs, have bbq outside which everyone can enjoys a night bbq with families and friends, on clear day can see Fuji-san.

Quite far away, you need cars to stay here. In order to use BBQ facilities you need to book dinner with the hotel, which I didn’t know since they called it dinner instead of BBQ, I thought I would be eating in resto so I ended up skipping it, cannot book it on the day :( Room is small but bathroom is huge, I wish they can take out some space from the bathroom and extend living room so we can freely open our luggages :(

the facility has a very good view directly can view Mt. Fuji. My package does not include meals but I ordered breakfast one day in advance. Breakfast is buffet style, the restaurant provides a pan for you to cook eggs, bacon by yourself. From the bar table of the restaurant you can directly see Mt. Fuji. The people are all very nice and very helpful.

it is a bit difficult to get a taxi to get around.
