It's a well-managed hostel. We stayed in a capsule for a couple. Plenty of space, comfortable and clean. Good kitchen, good common bathrooms. They have private rooms on the second floor for those who wish it. Twenty minutes on foot to the train station, a big supermarket around, a 7-eleven convenience store. It´s near the path of one of the touristic buses, so you can leave the bus before it reaches the station, what's very convenient.
I've downloaded from the site a map with instructions to get to the hostel from the station, on foot. The instructions seemed reliable, with pictures showing all the way. But the instructions were wrong and we walked a lot with suitcases until we found it. Probably it refers to old landmarks. I complained at the reception, I don't know if it was corrected. Please be sure of the walking way from the train station.

Location was simply beautiful and a rooftop terrace was the cherry on top. Amazing hostel with good facilities. There's an option to rent a bike which I highly recommend. Bikes have their own thief stoppers so you can leave them anywhere you want (local people do the same which is such a nice view to be honest). Everything you need is very close - bus/train station, shops, restaurants. You must visit Kosaku restaurant - it's amazing. Hostel itself is a nice one.
Sometimes you must wait for your shower but it is a hostel life.

We stayed in a room with a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji — truly scenic! The hostel is in a quiet neighborhood, and since we had a car, getting around was easy. Parking was ample, and the room was spacious enough for 2 adults, 2 kids, and a toddler. They also provided house sandals, which was a nice touch. It’s not soundproof, so we kept our kids' volume down, but it was never an issue, especially since we were out most of the day. A great bonus: there’s a very delicious halal biryani restaurant about 5 minutes' walk away, open until 10 PM — perfect for dinner. They have many facilities at the kitchen and open area but we didn't use them.
The only downside was the reception — while helpful with information, the staff member didn’t seem very warm or welcoming. No small gestures like a goodbye or asking about our trip plans, and he seemed a bit bothered by follow-up questions.

Very nice atmosphere. We were welcomed by a guy staff from Chile, he was very welcoming. The room was nice with heater. The beds were comfortable. We had a sink in the room so it was very convenient. The kitchen was rather clean. Location is good : 10min from a combini, 30min from fuji q Highlands, 60mins from chureito pagoda (all by walk)
Poor sound isolation, we've been woken up by children the two mornings we were there (because parents let them run and scream in the corridors) so it was very troublesome. It's almost too bad children are allowed because otherwise the place would have been perfect !

We had a private Japanese style room, which was an interesting experience. AC works well, and staff are nice and helpful. Cleanliness level is fine. Despite a bit of an awkward climb, the small roof terrace delivered nice views of Mt Fuji, as promised.
Toilets were shared and at first I was a bit worried when I realized that the entire floor has only 2 toilets for women. However, I never had to que for them, so worked fine. The location is a bit far away from anything, so it is a bit of a walk, especially with large luggage. But on the upside, the way there had many photo ops for Fuji with zero people. There was also a short staircase that had to be tackled to get to our room, but it was not a big issue. I could have used a thicker mattress, but it matched the traditional style room we booked, so can't really complain.

Three of us stayed in a room for six, so we really enjoyed having a bit more space after our tiny Tokyo apartment! The room had everything we needed, and sleeping on the futons turned out to be surprisingly comfy. This was also the first place we stayed where there were plenty of hooks and hangers, such a small thing, but so helpful. Everything was spotless and clean. We loved the view of beautiful Fuji-san from the rooftop, and also rented bikes - a bit rusty, but they got us where we wanted to go! Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and easy stay.
The Wi-Fi wasn’t always perfect, but it was good enough for what we needed.

It's my second time at the hostel! Cozy, spacious and clean! This time we booked a Fuji view room but unfortunately, Fujisan didn't wanna come out :( But apart from that, it feels homey and the futon was super comfortable! Perfect choice for those who want the Japanese-type stays! There's a nearby mall and Sukiya if you want a bite, and even a halal mart just across the street!
The first time I came, I didn't remember it being so far from the Kawaguchiko station & the lake. Be prepared to lug your luggages/do some walking around ~30 mins to station and ~40 mins to the lake.

We booked the private ensuite with Mt Fuji View and I am so glad we did! Upon arrival, the staff who assisted us is friendly & can speak english so we had smooth check in. It was amazing waking up to see Mt Fuji from our room. We really had a lovely time. The room is spacious though the bath is quite small & not so much space for our luggages especially when we have to open it. Since our rooms is located in 2nd floor, we have to carry our luggages up the stairs. The kids enjoyed the common area because there’s some board games & few toys to entertain them. My husband & daughter also enjoyed cycling with their bike rentals. We are so glad we booked 3 nights here & when we can come back we wish to have a longer stay here🙂
Stairs going up with luggages.

I love the view and neighbourhood! It’s really quiet and you get unblocked views of Mt Fuji up close on the roof and while walking around. Also it was great that on days that I was staying there, the weather was clear. The bed was comfortable and I also had space next to the bed to pack and lay my things out. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The common area connects to a kitchen where there’s a lot of space to cook/clean/store food. Most people I’ve met in the common area were open to talk too
It’s a walk from Kawaguchiko station for the view trade off and having a daily 2x 20 minute walk to and from the station could be quite taxing especially after a long day going around.

Loved the place overall, very kind staff, spacious living room and kitchen and rooftop with a striking view on Mount Fuji!!they recommended me a good onsen. Overall I would recommend.
I believe the value added of having a small bedside tabel on the bunk bed for each person to store essentials, charging cables and other things is a very positive point. It was missing in this case. There are just bunk beds, which are not best for isolating the noise. I would provide a set of ear plugs if possible in this case. Also worth mentioning it is a 20 min walk from the station. The shower had an issue where it was doing 5 seconds hot water, then 5 seconds cold.
