Nice big room with a table and chairs. 12 minute walk from the station and a little further to the cable car and lakeside. Supermarket and restaurants nearby. God laundry facilities.

Pillows were a little hard.

Lovely spacious room. It's probably one of the biggest rooms I've had in japan. Also, I had a balcony, which was a bonus. Could see Mount Fuji from the windows in the hallway, and it was my first good view of her.

The only thing was the location in terms of the distance to the station. It is not a problem if it's dry weather but when I arrived and left it was raining so I got soaked as there are no bus routes nearby.

Great hotel in a great location. Beautiful Fuji views right by the road. Approximately 10 minute walk to Kawaguchiko Station, although may be a bit chilly in the winter. Older style hotel but comes with everything you'd expect. Full amenities with a convenient small kitchen. Decently sized room and bathroom and a lot of TV channels. Balcony was a nice touch.

Wifi was a bit slow in the rooms, you have to find a right spot for reception.

Hotel is out of the way if the hustle and bustle of Lake Kawaguchiko. It's a reasonable trek to the lake but the scenery during the walk makes up for it. You are supposed to be able to see a towering view of mt fuji from the road in front of the hotel but unfortunately during the 3 days we were there it was foggy and we could see anything. When we come back to Fujikawaguchiko will definitely stay here again, hopefully it's sunny this time so we can see mt fuji.

There are not enough taxi cars when you are with big suitcase. In general the operational hours of Kawaguchiko entertainments and transport to them is very short, so we cannot enjoy all of them. First Bus to 5th station is at 9:20am, last cable car to pagoda is 15pm, last bus to flower festival also. So no way to do even 2 of this in 1 day

Great location, big balcony, close to the train station, outside of the hotel you have a good view of Mt. Fuji

The staff didn't ask if we wanted breakfast, one the first night I could understand because we arrived late, at 22:00 and you needed to order before 21:00, but on the other days it wasn't suggested. It wasn't included in the price, but I probably would have taken it. Also, I tried to use the microwave and it was filthy.

The location is walking distance to the kawaguchiko station. The location is very excellent! You can view slight mt fuji from your balcony. For majestic view go tu the end of the building and open the window. Clearly saw the majestic my fuji. The room is big too. Very affordable

The furniture is bit aged but it still okay. No slope for wheelchair or stroller to the main entrance.

We stayed only one night at Hotel Sawa to rest from skiing all day and returned home in the morning of the next day (We live in Tokyo). We made a reservation with them because the hotel we usually stay for our skiing trips around Mt Fuji was full for the night of February 11th. We found Hotel Sawa excellent. The location is super easy to find, they have parking lot, the receptionist was fast and we were in our room in no time. The room was nice, clean spacious (we were not expecting such an spacious room for the low price we paid), the beds and pillows were really comfortable. The hotel itself doesn't have that many amenities outside (we saw a microwave)and not luxurious at all, it's quite simple, but it's the perfect place to go to sleep after enjoying the many attractions that available in the area. The hotel is close to everything, Lake Kawaguchi, Fuji Q Highland and our case, our interest is skiing, so we went to Fujiten which is around 15 mins drive. The room has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, water electric kettle, TV, a table, 2 nice chairs, outlets to plug our devices, free Wifi that works and is reliable and the beds/pillows are awesome. The closet is really spacious too. We were highly pleased with our short stay and definitely plan on staying there more since they offer even better deals than the usual hotel we stay for our skiing trips around Mt Fuji, and we usually stay for 2 or 3 nights instead of 1. Really, really recommend Hotel Sawa.

Nothing. We liked everything.

It is clean and within the quiet part of the neighbourhood. Away from tourists’ main attractions, so it is a bit of a walk but still enjoy the stay. The best part of the place is that when the weather is good, it has a very beautiful view of mt fuji, which is so much better than the tourist spot of Honcho street in my opinion. Staff were also helpfull, we were rushing to kawaguchiko st and staffs tried their best to help us by calling taxi and witholding departing bus.

We loved our stay here mostly due to the hospitality and kindness of all the staffs. The rooms were spacious with lots of cabinets. The interior might be a bit dated but it's an overall excellent place to stay at if you are travelling to enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji.
