Amazing property! Decent size by Japan standard! The house has amazing view, facilities, modern design. Best thing is there are 2 WCs (perfect for big groups!) which is rare to find in Japanese homes. Very new and clean, shower and vanity area are huge! Huge space for beds and comfortable. Downside is that we only stayed there for one day! One of the most comfortable stay in Japan that doesn’t feel claustrophobic!

Location of the property. whereby the roads are very narrow and cars are hard to access, we drove an mpv as there are 6 of us (we would think the road size are meant for bike but small built cars are still driving around). You need to park your car 5 mins away (towards the main road) which is troublesome since you have all your heavy luggages. can’t park your car infront of the house as there are no parking and you risk your car being clamped.

The property looked nice and was decently maintained - it was nice that there were four ac units in the house which worked fine. Additionally it was nice that we had the choice between sleeping in beds or on the tatami mats. The staff was also very friendly and helpful concerning the early check in of luggage and the possibility of checking in earlier if the house would be ready which was really nice and accommodating on their side.

The cutlery and utensils in the kitchen should be checked more often as the pan was in a deplorable state and the utensils were sometimes still dirty due to the use by previous guests - the place could also benefit from a deep clean especially concerning mold in the bathroom and some more niche spots in the bathroom but also the entryway. The window in the living room also had some hand and finger prints on it which can happen but shouldn’t.

The only thing is i need to drag heavy luggage from parking to the villa. It will be better if we can drop bag in front of the place at least. Anyhow we respect the rules. So ni big issue

We could enjoy the nice view from the window of the property. The house is spacious by Japanese standard. It is very clean. A little walk in the village could be very enjoyable.

Parking could be a little challenging. It is 5-6 minutes from parking spot to the problem.

Great view of Mt Fuji, which saved us because we could not see it during the day (due to clouds). We were finally able to see Fuji-San when we came back to the lodging for rest (early pm)

Loved having a kitchen and fridge to have some meals at home. They had baby gates which was also super helpful with my 1.5 year old.

The beds were a bit hard and pillows were kinda flat, but there were plenty of them so we just doubled up.

the west house porch light was so bright it lit up the bedrooms in our unit in spite of the shades. felt like it was daylight all night.

This property is clean, quiet and easy to check in and out.

Some facilities such as coffee machine and screen doors need to be maintained.

Lots of space for Japanese standards, great view, close to the lake and the train station.

The view without the electrical pole would be even better. Light from the neighbor villa could not be shaded in the bedroom.
