After years of traveling, I have to say that this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. First, The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. The gentleman was very kind and allowed me to check in early at no cost, and the lady, seeing that I was having trouble with the bike stand, explained everything to me, both in very good English. Second, The accommodation is less than 10 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko station, you can borrow bikes for free, the bed was very comfortable, and the rooftop is a must with an incredible view of Mt. Fuji (I had the pleasure of having my coffee there every morning). Third, Everything is incredibly clean, shower, high-end toilet. Everything is done to ensure you have a great time, small details to improve your daily life, for example the temperatures of the day, all the supermarkets in the area, all the activities in the region on a leaflet, and also when there is an event (in this case a hanabi matsuri) I highly recommend this hotel, they work hard and deserve the best.

nothing everything was perfect

I looked for the following criteria when booking this accommodation: 1) Shortest walking distance for public transport 2) Low cost compared to others Both were fulfilled. We basically only used the room for sleeping. It is 10 min walking from Kawaguchiko Station with local train and bus. We were coming by train from Matsumoto and going to Shinjuku by bus from there. The guest house has a nice rooftop with view on Mt. Fuji and free bikes. We used them to go around the Kawaguchi lake which was a good decision (took 3h with some stops).

We stayed in the SUPERIOR twin room and it was spacious and comfortable. Pros: free snacks, coffee and tea, very accessible to kawaguchiko station and restaurants, free use of bike and very kind and generous staff. Since it was raining on our check out the staff gave us 2 umbrellas to use. Yes not lend, he gave it for free and we are grateful. Thank you again Cons: if you are icky on sharing toilet and bath but must say it is well kept and clean the whole time it was only that you have to adjust on bath time since there are 2 showers for the guests

Beautiful place. The kindest staff, the best facilities, the cleanest dorms. Free snacks, tea, coffee available at all times. The view of Fuji from the rooftop is unimpeded and perfect. Having high quality bikes available for free throughout your stay - given the high cost of bike rental elsewhere in town - is the cherry on top of the cake. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. When leaving they stored my bags free of charge also. At this price, it's phenomenal value. Highly, highly recommended.

Absolutely nothing

Good location a short walk from the station. Staff are incredibly helpful and helped me sort out onward travel. Everything is very clean and the 'pod' style bunk beds mean you have more privacy. There are toilets on the same floor as the dorm and showers (with body wash and shampoo) are down one floor. The terrace was good to see Mount Fuji when finally making an appearance just before I left. There's a communal area with free tea and coffee and a microwave, and there are convenience stores (including the 'famous' Lawson) and good value restaurants nearby. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

It would have been good to have the option of a simple breakfast in the guesthouse which always encourages conversation with other travellers. Limited space in the dorms to put your luggage.

Fuji-san views were great! Staff was excellent and the facilities were clean and modern. Snacks and bicycles were very welcome. The 'room'/capsule/bed was bigger and more comfortable than I expected.

Unfortunately, it does get pretty warm in the capsule/bed. The mixed room's AC wasn't very strong and, maybe because my bed was the furthest down, it didn't really reach my bed, especially once I drew the curtains... I run warm when I sleep so I did wake up with a layer of sweat on me...

There is so much to like about this little place. First of all the lady who owns this place is such a beautiful soul. She speaks pretty good English and is very helpful. gave great restaurant tips and travel tips. This is her family home that she shares and they are very respectful and it felt like an honour to be in their home.. So here is a list of all the great things!! Cute little lounge and eating area with snacks, sweets and drinks, a bonus on hiking day! A brilliant shoe dryer, everybody needs one of these! The most amazing views from the rooftop which was quiet and peaceful. I was worried it would be full of drinking youngsters but it was such a wonderful resting area. great Aircon and dehumidifier if needed. A Clearview of Mount Fuji from my bedroom! lovely smelling toiletries provided in the shower. help with luggage upstairs and downstairs to the bedroom.

I didn’t dislike anything about this day. I just want to point out. Directions were difficult to follow on maps. my tip is to go to the Suzuki dealership and keep walking on the main road away from the station. Google Maps took me all around the back and round and round! It was actually a super quick walk from the station.

I like everything about it most especially the rooftop because I was really able to maximize my stay even if it's just for the weekend. I so love the view of Mt. Fuji from up there and I enjoyed it all by myself because everyone else was still sleeping. I would have stayed longer if time allows. It was never a plan but I'm so happy I went through it because I has the best weekend of my life.

It's not that I didn't like but it's just I wasn't able to have some tea time. But I'm still happy the owner allowed me to get one wafer. It literally saved me a meal.

The Guest House is located in an unbelievable silent area in the heart of Kawaguchiko. You will find nice restaurants and supermarkets around. I think that I dont have to talk about the view. Just amazing!!! Furthermore, everything is so clean. The hosts are very interested in cleaning every day which feels nice. It is also nice to use the bikes for free and get some snacks and coffee on top. 🙏🏼

The only thing which is a bit annoying is that there was no small light in the two bed room next to the bed. Thats just it.

Beautiful guesthouse with very nice staff! De view of mount Fuji from the roof terrace was out of this world. The showers and toilets were clean and the beds were comfortable. Also the location is nice, just a small walk towards the station. The bikes were a great addition!

If you’re a solo traveller looking to meet others, this is not the place (it’s hard to find that near Fuji anyways). The atmosphere is pretty calm and quiet, but that was also very nice at times.
