Its a ski in ski out resort. Shuttle is provided by the hotel from the train station. Room was good size, view from room is the ski slope which is wonderful. Facilities all are good although a lil bit worned out. It has a school ski school which starts indoor with akl the basics and proceed to the outside. The staff and coach are all so friendly and nice. My kid LOVE it so much, And the waku snow funland have ice tubing, sled, mini playground etc (with extra cost to enter) was great. And i must say the staff is exceptional. The staff in building 4 (i regret that i didnt ask his name), my daughter shoes is wet from playing in the snow (after we checked out), i asked them if i can use the hairdryer in the onsen place, but he just take my daughter shoes away to help me dry it and also gave her a slipper to put on while waiting. Thanks a lot 🙏🏻

The food. I didnt got to try much, but its a bit on the pricey side. But its a resort, so it is understandable. And it feels like they dont clean the room thoroughly because there are bits and pieces of food on the floor when i just checked in.

You're as close to the ski slopes as humanly possible. Plenty of food options to choose from, all of which can be reached indoors. You can also rent your skis from within the hotel and have a locker right there to leave them at the end of the day. You can also buy your ski ticket right next to the locker room, again indoors. There are also a couple of convenience stores within the complex. Free shuttle to the train station is also helpful.

the hotel is a little dated, not that big of a deal assuming you're skiing all day. Also, as can be expected, everything is on the pricier side. Convenience stores do not sell fruit, again not the end of the world.

The rooms were well equipped, the view to the slopes was amazing and my kids loved the hammock. They spent hours in there just chilling out after skiing. Ski and ski out was so good, I love skiing to the door and coming straight in the hotel.

Food choices were a little limiting and only open in the middle of the day. Finding breakfast and dinner that my kids would eat was challenging. We ended up having dinner at 4:30pm in the food court most days. In hindsight, I should have stocked up on groceries in Tokyo before I came.

The snow resort was beautiful. Loved the ambience and the snow activities’ facilities were sufficient. The shuttle bus service to/from the train station was good too. Our rooms were facing the ski run and they were amazing.

There were no halal food options at the hotel. Would have been good to have a few. The interior of the rooms looked a bit old too. It would be great if they can brighten up the hallway and the rooms. We were on level 20 and 21 and it was giving ‘The Shining’ vibe.

Godsend for families with kids. The hotel is directly on the spot, possibility to rent clothes, skis, onsen, free shuttle from echigo-yuzawa train station, many restaurants, the mountain view of wing 2 is amazing. Ski tracks are perfect for beginners and intermediates. Very good quality of snow and not crowded.

The breakfast is very expensive and isn't worth it and the general quality of the restaurants is average.

The ski lifts are just next to the hotel. All equipment rental or sales facilities are everywhere. There is free transport from the station to and from the hotel. We engaged the Ski School in the hotel, the instructors were friendly and the teaching was excellent. The room is spacious can fit four adults easily.

The hotel room is rather old but clean. The prices of the drinks and food from the vending machines and stores are the resort price.

I like the room I got during the visit. It's a ski view. This is the second time that I have had this room type with a magnificent view. The hotel facilitiesTh are excellent and reasonably priced. I also like the Ski rental shop, laundry machine, onsen, and restaurant in the hotel area.

The operation hours of the services are limited, such as for rental ski shops or merchandise.

The ski in and ski out hotel is really convenient for us who want to learn skiing. We stay in the beginning seasons where not all restaurants are opened. Dinner become an issue for us, and the food sold in the convenience store has limited choices. I should have stock up some food from Tokyo before coming to here

The toilet near ski areas are really stink

Ski resort has everything you need. Ski rental, restaurant, bar, food-court, spa, market, shops, ski-lifts. The hotel Staff is very friendly and helpful. Beds are very comfortable.

Rooms are quite small, difficult to open a large luggage. Furnitures are relatively old, and quite dated. Although a bit dated, everything is still very functional.
