The location of the Comfort Hotel was ideal for us to visit the major shrines and take a day trip. Being 5 minutes from the train station was ideal and the hotel had no transportation noise. Our room was on the 12th floor (with quick elevator service) and faced east so we had great sunrises. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was a good size. Everything was very clean. The complimentary breakfast (to be discontinued in 2025) had good Western and Eastern options and was well organized with a time slot system. There are complimentary snacks (candies, mini chocolate bars, tea, coffee) in the afternoon. Every staff person we met was welcoming and helpful.

When we arrived the bathroom had a slight musty odour which we resolved by leaving the fan on while we were there.

Traveling to Japan twice a year for more than 10 years now, including many study trips, I can say with some assurance that this is one of the best hotels I have stayed. Simple and friendly check in. « Large » rooms, by Japanese standards. No coupon for breakfast, just walk in! Honnest buffet as well. Good location within walking distance to the train station and Ise Jingu Geku (to me, as interesting if not more than the inner Naiku temple), and many restaurants nearby. Paying parking but otherwise priced just right. Definitely a good value option in Ise.

Nothing bad for say! This is what affordable hotels should be all over Japan

Breakfast was OK - nothing to write home about, but I appreciate the fact that it was provided. The location, literally minutes away from the train station was the best value proposition of the hotel.

Check-in process could be fine-tuned. Even though I checked in online, I had to check in again at the hotel. You wasted my time and squandered good will unnecessarily, turning a potential plus to a big minus.

Very comfortable stay at Comfort Hotel Ise. Just a short walk away from the train station, Ise Jingu outer shrine (Geku), with good surrounding food options. Staff were helpful and professional, had a good command of English. Decent room and bathroom size. There's also a library cafe which doubles up as a lounge for guest use for free in between meal periods.

Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is right across the train station so people can easily access it. They served delicious mangoes as part of breakfast. The breakfast was nice and all staff were so kind and friendly.

We had to pay for parking but there were many affordable parking lots very near the hotel. The cafeteria wasn’t so big some people had to wait in line to get a table and seat during breakfast.

The hotel is conveniently located across from the Kintetsu and JR train stations. Also there are many restaurants, dessert and tea/coffee cafes, and shops within a few blocks of the hotel.The Outer Shrine is a less than 10 minute easy walk away as are buses that drop off visitors at the Inner Shrine. The hotel offers a simple breakfast buffet only, but self serve coffee and tea plus several candies and cookies are available during the afternoons and evenings.

The hotel is just a short walk from the railway station, the staff are very helpful and friendly. It has great accessibility to sightseeing attractions, using the train,buses, or walking. The room I had was fairly spacious and comfortable.

From the hotel perspective, there was nothing wrong if you wanted to access an onsen that was about 1.6 klm or the main shopping malls was about 2.5 klm

The location was great. The use of the dining space with free drinks and snacks was really helpful. Breakfast included in the room rate. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would happily stay here again and recommend to friends and family

The bed seemed to slope a bit and one skinny pillow wasn't enough to balance this

Location was very good and the room was a good size. Good manner and attentiveness from the staff on the front desk. Good space to relax downstairs with free tea/coffee and snacks available.

The price was a little above what I would expect for a Comfort Inn - it was a holiday which may explain that however. The breakfast room area is insufficient for the number of guests when the hotel is busy and felt crowded.

The rooms were the typical business room layout but the extra 6 to 12 inches around the bed made all the difference. You can set up your luggage in the room and still walk around. Close to JR Station and 500m to Outer Shrine. Outstanding breakfast included.
