The room is super clean and quite large, exceeding my expectations for its price. There is even an outside balcony for a barbeque party. The bathtub is large, you can submerge your whole body in it. The towels have a fragrant smell, which I like very much. The staff are friendly.

The laundry is pretty expensive (¥400) and no dryer exists. There is no place for drying the towels around the bathroom as well.

Small individual houses which allows comfort and discretion. Bathroom was superb and bigger than expected with bath, shower and large sinks. The best is the outside bath which can be filled with hot and cold water as desired.

Location can be difficult to reach and narrow turn between two buildings of the complex is needed to enter the property. It is not really annoying however.

It is very clean and spacious for 3 persons. Facilities like laundromat is excellent for travellers who need to do laundry

It is quite a distance from city centre but with a car it should be fine.

Staff was incredible helpful and accommodating, despite the language barrier. They helped us call cabs to go downtown and let us store our bags in their office before check in and after check out.

The beds were very hard and the property was a little far from downtown…having a car or bikes is best if you stay here.

the whole resort concept is excellent at Painushima. loved the big tabs both indoor and outdoor, the bbq facilities made it feel like a glamorous trip. loved every bit of the stay. highly recommended.

isolated from other rooms/guests, very nice terrace which has outdoor bathtub. BBQ stove can be borrowed which I enjoyed a lots. Clean.

Very clean and spacious. The beds were super comfy. The outside area really nice and we particularly love the bathroom, bigger and newer compared with other places we have been in Japan.

You need a car since it is not close to any town or área with facilities! The cafeteria was closed, you need to have your own goodies for breakfast.

Very nice room with terrace, very clean, cozy.

There is a construction site outside and a bit far from everything, but we were traveling by car so it was not a problem
