Great for young families. Indoor heated pool & beach had everything we needed for our kids (towels/toys/floaties). Playground, lots of room to run around/be kids! Room very comfortable, bright, open & spacious! Many eating options albeit some very expensive. Staff very friendly.

The outdoor pool on our side of hotel was closed for maintenance & we weren’t allowed to use the pool on the other side. We didn’t know this until we checked in & it was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. (Still enjoyed the indoor pool though) booking.com stated there was kids club + babysitting services for additional cost but when I enquired, was told these aren’t available at all.

Great resort hotel, right on the beach in Ishigaki. Great concierge staff (Jean) who was able to arrange for may activities (snorkeling and island tour) ouside of the hotel, as well as very good local restaurants in Ishigaki. Beautiful and large rooms (especially by Japan standards). Very nice resort, great to relax after 3 weeks of intense visiting all over Japan. Great breakfast, the best we have seen in Japan.

Japanese breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed the kaiseki and teppanyaki. It was pricey but good. Tropics cafe was great as well. Location to the beach with some coral. I got to see some fish. I have to say, I got put on notice for swimming outside the boundaries…sigh… My room was fantastic. I enjoyed the design and view. Easy to get in and out of the building. Lots of light.

The breakfast buffet at Saltida was underwhelming while expensive. Nothing special except the grilled meats.

The chain IC is great as usual, it has provided the best leisure experience for my short vacation in Japan. The service is outstanding. The facilities are a little bit outdated, nevertheless it was compensated by the quality of food and overall impressions.

The cost of meal - too expensive, on average, a dinner set may worth you at least 10-15 thousand yen. It would be great if the hotel provided a coin laundry

Very spacious room with sea view, very spacious and well equipped bathroom as well (shower and bathtub). Comfortable beds. Great breakfast selection, complimentary water bottles every day. Friendly staff.

Digital breakfast queuing system is very annoying, the Covid times are behind us. Just let the people come and either they will have space or not. Especially annoying is that you need to interact several times with the system for confirming and entering your information etc. It also does not remember you. Please improve.

ANA Intercontinental Ishigaki Resort was an absolute dream stay! Being slow starters and not one to be out and about consistently when on vacation, it was great having so many facilities and eating options even within the hotel. The breakfasts were exceptional - had me excited for the next morning every night and staff really did cater to every need.

This does not reflect directly on the hotel but for those who want quick access to the 'central' town district it may seem a little far if you do not drive!

the amenities were great! several outdoor pools as well as an indoor pool for rainy days. the beach was just so/so (very rocky due to coral). Service was exceptional everywhere we went!

our shower had lots of mold on the grout and the cleaning crew was unable to make it to our room most of the stay despite us being out and about for 4-6 hours at a time. I think they are still opening up a bit after the pandemic and I suspect staffing levels are a little low (as they are everywhere)

Beautiful hotel, staff were extremely helpful. Was concerned after reading some reviews on booking.com beforehand. Breakfast was excellent, room had beautiful views, pools were fantastic and sea just a short walk from the bedroom. Having been to other tropical destinations before, the pace of life can be slower, which if you embrace, you will have a great time.

Great facilities. Large-sized room with beautiful view of the sea. Good choice of swimming pools. The beach has a little coral reef, so you were able to see fish when snorkeling, although the water is on the cold side in late November. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast selection.

Restaurants a little on the pricey side.

I lost my passport while I was here, everyone was so kind and considerate. They really helped me through the process and checked up on me the entire time, I ended up staying for two weeks and even made a few friends. This is definitely place I’ll be back to
