The location is perfect for anyone staying in the Yokosuka area. The train station is right behind the hotel, for easy access to all areas of Tokyo and the airport. There are an abundance of restaurants, shops and entertainment within walking distance, including a shopping mall across the street. The staff was great, very friendly, and when I asked for a room on a higher floor, and away from the elevators, they were able to accommodate me. I even received a large corner room that included two beds, a large refrigerator, sofa and coffee table. Great for relaxing in the morning or at night. The TV has several apps built in allowing you to watch many of your favorite shows. I like that there was an actual closet with several hangers, plus usable drawers to put your clothes in.

The rooms are dated, but clean and functional. The A/C was a little slow to cool down the room when I first arrived but stayed cool for the remainder of my stay. Because my room was facing the train station, I could hear the train early in the morning. Not that big of a deal.

Location close to train and shopping and navy base.

There were no electrical outlets by the bed that were needed for CPap, so an extension cord (provided) had to be used from the desk near the foot of the bed. The weather was cooler than expected and the room did not warm up although the thermostat was turned up. The hotel booklet said a heater could be rented.

The location is good for accessing various means of transportation, as well as many choices for dining out. The staff members are very kind and helpful. If I do travel again, I will definitely consider Mercure Yokosuka Hotel. Thank you Mercure for Great hospitality!

Overall great hotel. Didn’t try the breakfast or other facilities but the location was perfect for what I needed. Staff was super friendly, spoke English and were helpful. They even lent out free umbrellas! Score as I woke up to solid wind and rain the first morning. Convenience stores close by as well.

Bed was a bit dated and worn. Had the soft spot in the middle that would cause people to taco up

Always clean and close to all types of commerce. And close right next to train station that takes you to Tokyo in no time and in to other major cities in Kanto area.

Breakfast. Too expensive for the quality of food of the buffet. A close by chain restaurant had breakfast options for similar quality and 1/4 of the price.

The hotel was in a great location. It was so close to the naval base that you can hear the National Anthem play in the morning. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good too.

The rooms were small.

I love the location, close to Base and shopping. The view is awesome. Easy access for parking and the train station is next door. The staff is outstanding, always friendly and helpful.

The only problem i have is the WIFI is sometimes unstable. In the large rooms, the cold water doesn't work in the sink.

The location was absolutely perfect. Close to two stations, close to shopping, close to food, and great views of the harbor.

The pillows were not what I was accustomed to, and the laundry room was locked during our stay so we weren't able to do laundry as expected.

Clean, near the Shioiri train station and friendly staff. Would recommend if you're intending to visit Yokosuka and the cities around.

A standard well-off hotel which is worth the price. The only downside might be the location depending where you'll be spending most your time (is a bit far from Yokohame e.g.).

Next to mall and train station. Also an arcade, which I love. Elevators need a key to access floors for good security. Room light had dimmer and toggles next to bed making it nice when your partner is asleep and you want to be up.

Rooms were a bit small for comfort. Single bed for 2 people with 4 suitcases (due to a long trip in multiple areas and lots of souvenirs). But it worked out fine. Bathroom door was elevated, that took getting used to.
