Probably, the best experience I had in hotels. Spacious (seriously spacious, especially for Japan) room, all the needed facilities, including big fridge, lounging area, super convenient coffee kettle, and lots of storage space. Very green-conscious. Laundry is on-line payable and controlled. Perfectly located close to all main sites and promenade, but noise insulation is great, so we had fantastic sleep. We had a great deal or the stay and I would definitely stay again when in Yokohama. Btw, if you are arriving by Minatomirai line, head for exit 4, it's just next to the hotel and has elevator (weirdly enough maps send you to the exit 2).

location, the lift from the station was beside the entrance to the hotel, hence very easy commuting to anywhere in Japan. Very cheap and fast JR system into Tokyo. Short walk to international cruise terminal even shorter walk to Chinatown. The staff where all super friendly, the hotel was spotless (all though the hole of Japan is spotless) laundry and guest lounge a bonus. I am 77years young and have traveled extensively throughout the world and by far this has been the best value hotel we have ever stayed at. First time ever 10 out of 10 for everything. If you are planning a trip to Japan and Tokyo stay at Citadines Yokohama you won’t regret it.

the property was perfect nothing to dislike

Great location near the cruise port. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, and we had a great view of the harbor and were able to see our ship coming into the dock. The staff were extremely friendly and helped us with directions on using the subway to get to Shibuya crossing. We took a walk from the hotel and found Chinatown. The subway, Chinatown, the baseball stadium, and the Japanese gardens were all within walking distance. It is a lovely hotel and has terrific staff!

The check-in process took over 20 minutes. You have to download an app and create accounts, passwords, etc. Took forever, and then it did not work The room key was not working through the app ,so they had to issue an actual card! The staff was not able to help with the app. Very ennoying. Also, our room was not ready on time, so had to wait another 30 minutes. Staff was very apologetic.

Friendly people at the front desk helping us and welcoming us! Beautiful room with a nice view. Conveniently located in walking distance to most sights in Yokohama, including the stadium and the cruise terminal. The hotel has direct access to the metro. The air condition worked perfectly and was easy to understand. A lot of stores nearby, and even a kitchen in the room.

Excellent location and friendly, professional staff. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. The rooms were perfect for our needs.

No bar or restaurant inside the property but we were aware of this when we booked. Breakfast is available through a side door into a cafe from inside the hotel.

This is a perfect place to stay for the night before you board your cruise the next day. The hotel has an elevator connecting the underground walkway with its building so you can immediately go to the building from the subway. The hotel also have almost every facilities you will need, from air-conditioning to comfy bed, basic toiletries, hair dryer, and there is even an iron and an iron board to finish up your laundry. After a night's stay, you can also walk directly from the hotel to the cruise terminal without having to worry about getting lost.

If there is anything, may be the bed is a little too hard for light sleepers. Otherwise, nothing to knitpick.

Convenient location right on top of a train station, a few bus/train stops away from several shopping centers, few minutes walk from several parks, plenty of restaurants and konbinis. We stayed with our 1.5 year old and enjoyed ourselves. The rooms are quite spacious in Japanese standards. Staff are very helpful with excellent English. Liked the lounge with nice terrace.

Location was excellent to the train station and easy walk to the cruise terminal. Room was clean and small but better than our other one. Bathroom was reasonable size, shower in the bath. Receptionist was very helpful with out WIFI which was not working, she came to our room and went back and forth to reception until it was sorted. 10/10 for service when required. Close to the water front for an easy walk to take in Yokohama.

Excellent stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms so clean and comfortable with plenty of storage space for clothing and luggage, and great kitchenette facilities - oven/microwave, larger fridge, stove, large sink and basic cutlery and crockery. The amenities provided are good quality and smell lovely. The bed was a big firm for my liking but my husband loved it. We had 2 rooms next to each other for 2 adults and 2 teens. Unfortunately we didn’t get bay views but we could just see (and hear) Yokohama Stadium from our window. We were in town to watch the Baystars play and it was so great to be close to the stadium. On the 7th floor there is a lounge with coffee machine and vending machine. Guests use this area to enjoy their own bought meals (we often bought meals from 7-11 and ate them up here). There is also a coin laundry on this floor. The location is fantastic! Directly above Nihon-Odori station (use exit 4 from the station to get near direct access to the hotel), 5-10 minute walk to various destinations such as Yokohama Stadium (Go Baystars!!!), Red Brick Warehouse (lots of great eats here), Yamashita Park and China Town (lots more great eats!). With the train station downstairs it is also easy to access Yokohama station and many others - easy access to MARKis shopping centre which has Uniqlo and lots of other great fashion stores, gift shops and food market. We really enjoyed our stay in Yokohama at Citadines and we will definitely be back.
