For anybody having to do work on the base, you really can't find more value for the price than this hotel. The rooms are massive by Japanese standards, come with washer and dryer standard as well as a full kitchen. Staff is courteous and helpful. If there's something you need, they have probably thought of it. I was staying there with a colleague whose daughter lost a retainer in the trash. The staff, exceeding all expectations, went through the hotel's trash and successfully found the retainer. I just don't know what to say about that. Superior place

Loved it all

The facilities were great. They have a kitchen, washing machine, and EVEN a drying machine. They also provide the detergent for washing clothes and cooking tools. It feels like an apartment!

The amenities inside the bathroom were less than I expected. They only provided toothbrush and that's it. But it was fine since I brought my own stuff too. But it would be nice if they could provide cotton buds and hair brush.

Very clean, washer/dryer, kitchenette, heated toilet seat, inexpensive, close to train, beautiful parks nearby, walking distance to restaurants and shopping

A little difficult to communicate with staff

Compared to a hotel when we were in Kyoto, the room size was excellent at the NP.

The breakfast at NP was $2 more per person than where we stayed in Kyoto but the quality was poor and the selection more limited. NP's bed covering, a comforter, was to thick and hot for the temperatures and we had to ask for a sheet and blanket instead. There was no translation or instruction on how to use the washer and dryer, all the buttons were in Japanese although NP is a hotel which obviously caters to Americans.

It wasn’t close to the train station but walkable. The room had a kitchenette with pots and pans, utensils, microwave, I’ve toaster, everything.

They didn’t explain that they had all that above! There is a separate bath facility but there was no mention of it.

Spacious room, balcony with view of harbor, in room washer dryer, full size refrigerator, and central location. The kitchen is setup for extended occupancy and included cutlery, saran wrap, pots and pans.

Breakfast was mediocre. The key system meant that if one of us wanted to go to the lobby the other sat in the dark. Onsen not included.

Breakfast was great. I like the rooms, bar looked inviting but I did not use it though, the facility is clean. The language barrier was a bit challenging.

Communication challenge but the staff was kind to overcome the challenge.

Nice location, cheaper parking overnight! There are washing machines in the room, that is useful!

There was one Chinese lady at the reception, she was not as helpful as expected by Japanese service standard.

I loved that the hotel was close to the navy base. I liked that the hotel was walking distance to plenty of places to eat and there were a lot of things to do in the surrounding area

The pillows were a bit flat

The location is convenient, with the hotel situated near a large shopping mall and major attractions. The room is well-equipped, with a washing machine, dryer, and a small kitchenette - everything you could need.
