The breakfast was good. It was very similar to hotel breakfasts I've had in Japan hotels, like Toyoko Inn. The service was awesome. The lady who greets you for breakfast is super polite, and excellent at attending to your needs. Although the halls and check in area of the hotel looks a bit worn and dated, the rooms are completely modern and good size. They seem recently renovated. It was a pleasant surprise. When I checked in, the ladies at the front desk were SUPER polite and attentive. I dropped my luggage off as checkin was until 3pm. When my room was ready, one of the receptionists took all 3 of my bags, which were probably more than 60 lbs in weight and dropped them off at my room without saying a word. When she had finished she came over to me to inform me my room was ready. Wow, what a sweetheart!!! I was able to easily hail a cab with the assistance of the gentleman behind reception desk. Even though, the hotel is not a 5 star hotel, I sure was treated as if was at one. I would definitely book again.

The bed was a bit on the hard side, that's all. But it was way better than beds in Toyoko Inns where you pay more per night.

Not far from the station, but a wee bit farther than I expected if only because it's not exactly a straight beeline shot to get there. If you know where you're going, no problem. Front desk staff was pleasant and efficient. When I arrived, there was a big group of baseball boys also checking in, so I was wondering about the potential noise, but my floor and room were both wonderfully quiet. My room was more spacious than I expected, which was nice, and spotlessly clean with all the basic amenities, including free wifi. There's a public bath and sauna availabe, but since I had a bit of a cold, I passed on that this time around. There isn't much of anything to see or do in the surrounding neigborhood, so don't count on anything in that regard. On the other hand, it's a very convenient 30 minute max ride to Shibuya, so if yo're spending time in Tokyo and don't mind staying in a place that isn't in the thick of things, out a bit in the quiet part of town, than this is an excellent option. Personally, I've been to Tokyo a zillion times and don't need to stay in any of the hotspots anymore, so Hotel Kajigaya Plaza was a good fit at a good price for me. From the nearby station, easy access to Kawasaki and Yokohama, too. I will definitely stay here again.

No big deal, but the elevevators aren't in the best shape, which gives a slightly negative first impression. They need to be spruced up a bit.

Japanese breakfast was excellent, and kitchen staff were very kind. Room and overall hotel were nice. Walk to the train station wasn't bad, but could be a bit confusing for some folks.

Hallway smelled strongly of cigarettes, but thankfully our room smelled fine. Entering the hotel at ground level, the reception desk was vacant and had a sign in Japanese. Thankfully we had Google Translate and learned that the reception was on 2nd floor. It would be good if they could post that sign in a couple of other languages for foreign guests. :)

Room was spacious.

Beware of WiFi. Basically a business hotel equivalent to an Econolodge on a suburban highway in the US. A 10 minute walk+ from train station down a dimly lit path and across a highway overpass with a warning sign about perverts. Definitely slightly skeevy for a female solo traveler and I rarely encounter that anywhere in Japan.

The room is almost totally quiet (no street noise on the room), the Chinese buffet is very good, and enough staff speaks English.

Only the location, it takes like 8 minutes to walk to the train station and the first time may be confusing. After a couple of times going to the station it becomes easy to find the way.

Big room, good neighbourhood, lot of facilities, warm staffs (house keeping are the mvp)

Too far from the nearest station (kajigaya station, need to walk around 15 mins), pretty far from most places (harajuku, shibuya, many more in the western side of tokyo)

Nice hotel with very friendly staff a short walk away from Kajigaya station. Breakfast was good. This is a little off normal tourist route, so information is only in Japanese, but reception always spoke English.

The location wasn't too bad, just a short walk from the station. Not many restaurants around, but that is Kajigaya. The hotel did have a restaurant on the lobby level though. Didn't get to go, but vouchers are given to guests. The room was a good size, as was the bathroom, and everything was clean. The room had a good size sofa, and the T.V. was very good too.

Not much to say about negatives, other than, the rooms, or at least the doors, were not very sound proof. The table in the room was too small for two people, which was a shame, as the sofa was a good size for two. Lastly, the air conditioner seemed to be pushing out air hotter than the degree set on the remote, and my partner found a humidifier in the draw that had some old water in it still.

When I book at the booking .com, I was in trouble with my confirmation at the reception. However, at Kajigaya hotel , it was very smooth. The location was bit inconvenient, but I walked that was really goo exercise. The hotel staff were really kind.
