Very good price for what it is!

Checking in was tough. In the nine emails they sent me, they didn't mention that the hotel was actually in a different building. We finally noticed a hand drawn map on the wall pointing to something down the street. Still hard to find. It was very frustrating after a long day

Walking distance to Nirasaki Station. Mountain inspired interior design which suits us a lot as we just came down from Mt. Utsugi and going to climb Kai-Komagatake the day after. Clean, great kitchen area.

No staff at all & the stairs too steep. 😅

The room was actually in another building a few minutes down the road. The room was spacious, a bit old, but clean. The bathroom was small, but functional. Communication was via Booking.com messages, and the checkin was completely self-service (there is a tablet in the main building). The neighborhood was surprisingly lively: I strongly recommend the ゴキゲン yakitori place nearby.

It's a great value for the money, but the room is a bit old and the bathroom is small (unit bath with toilet inside).

Our room was spacious and very clean. There is nice coffees around the place.

The stairs are a little bit hurting when you are walking barefoot on it. The owner can easily find something to improve that point.

Self check-in, bathroom in room, decent size bed, fridge, tv, plugs for charging, value for money.

Very confusing location as there are two building of the same hotel and they are few hundred meters apart.

The facilities were clean. Well-fitted kitchen with some complimentary drinks. Easy check-in at both locations. The washer and dryer are low-cost. The bunks have individual power outlets and lights installed. Some camping supplies is available for purchase. The common area is quite comfortable with lots of chairs and music playing.

My main reason for the lower score is that the building was unbearably cold. I found the wool blankets, but even fully dressed, with an extra blanket, and the heater running as high as it could, I was so cold I couldn't sleep. I couldn't bear to even shower it was so cold. This is also not the facility's fault but a possible concern for other military veterans: The main building is structured so much like a naval ship, I was having flashbacks.

staff support is horrible. AC in our room was broken so I called to staff. Staff was obviously annoyed gave us some advice but AC was still not working properly. I called again two times and staff did not responded anymore. It was just 7pm evening but absolutely no support. We spent night in cold room without functioning AC. Check in and check out is also hassle since it has to be done in main building that is far from actual accommodation place.
