The property was clean, and the owner was very nice. He helped me transport my luggage to Tokyo, personally driving me and my suitcases to the courier company and assisting with the booking process by communicating with the delivery staff in their native language, which was a big help. Additionally, there were a few noodle boxes available for purchase, as well as complimentary basic tea and coffee, along with a microwave and hot water provided. There was also a common media room where guests could enjoy their food and watch TV. Value for money.

The only inconvenience was that our toilet was downstairs, which was quite inconvenient. However, there was an attached shower.

host was extremely helpful and kind, provided us event tips upfront and helped in all possible ways if anything was needed - for example lent an USB charger head and two umbrellas even without the need to ask - bottom line he was giving us the best experience possible.

the bathroom is private - but the toilet is not. and while the room had air conditioning, the toilet and the hallway not, and it was extremely hot especially in the former. this is more of a problem of the unlucky selection of date, weather and the size and orientation of the whole building, i would choose the same accomodation again without hesitation.

Mr Watanabe was an amazing host and provided us everything we needed. And also helped us with informations about Kyoto.

His place is not very close to any subway stations (15 mins walking distance with luggage is not the best experience when it's raining). So you needed to use the packed buses of the city. This is not his fault, but a fact about the property location.

The owner was a really nice guy. He helped us for every need we have. Its close to lawson which it was good for us specially want to eat smth at night. The room was really clean. Also First i checked the comments before booked people talked about the toilet but its private toilet just not inside the room.

It might be better if there the train station was a bit closer but 10 min not much a problem.

The property is a bit far from the nearest subway station. The toilet was also located downstairs and there was a midnight curfew.

It was very homey and the host was very friendly. It's near bus stops and train station. And there are a lot of food options and convenience stores nearby.

Lovely place. The owner is so nice and friendly, very helpful too. The place is very clean, the bed comfortable, and the house is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay here. It's just a short bus ride from Kyoto station. Loved it!

Staff was excellent and the room was great as well. Owner gave us a lift to the nearest train station since we couldn't find a taxi during checkout.

The room was slightly far from the center but I knew this going in.
