So relaxing and peaceful. I’ve had the most relaxing and restful sleep of my entire trip here. The host is too kind and helpful. She dropped us to the station and also took us to the nearest hypermarket a few times. She also made us excellent tea every morning. Their dog Kaku is another sweet and gentle soul to spend time with. The village itself nice. Ask for the map and explore the nearby towns. Also Omachi and Hotaka are close by. Lots of apple orchards in the area.

It’s not their fault.. staying here without a car can be a bit uncomfortable. The station is 50 min from Matsumoto and the inn is another 45 min walk. The host was kind enough to pick us up. Recommend getting a car and enjoy this beautiful place. We will miss Kaku. :-(

We had a wonderful time at Azumino Backpackers. The owner was incredibly friendly and the coolest host we've met. The surrounding nature was beautiful, and the service was excellent. It felt more like staying at a warm, welcoming home. Also, received a name brooch made by the owner. We’re definitely planning to go there again!

Hosts were super friendly, they cleaned our car off the snow and cleared the pathway so that we can drive out early in the morning. They gave a really warm welcome and gave us a personalised souvenir to take home afterwards. Everything was great the house is clean. Would definitely stay here again

One of my favorite places to stay in my six weeks of travelling. Very nice and helpful owners! Beautiful surroundings. A good place to relax, rooftop terrace and garden you can chill in. Was able to borrow a bike and bicycle around the area.

Amazing guest house! The room and facilities were very clean and tidy. Kitchen was well equipped. The property was quiet and calm. The hosts were lovely and we appreciated the tea :) Overall cozy and relaxing - recommend!

Not a problem but FYI the road to approach is dirt and narrow and requires careful driving.

owners are really nice, beautiful gueshouse in the middle of the fields, and still close to matsumoto, relly recommend this place for people who wants a bit more quiet and beautiful place who feels like home!

Quiet edge of town location. Lovely rural house owned by private couple. Thoughtful friendly owners. Great facilities.

Only slight gripe was that the beds were a bit hard for us soft westerners.

Beautiful and immaculately maintained property. The proprietor was attentive and planned for our arrival by turning on the ac in the room and lighting a fire in the backyard. Great shared places.

Homely atmosphere, very kind hosts, fire place at the living room, access to spacious and well equiped kitchen, beautiful sunrises seen from the dining table. I loved all the details from Nepal
