Breakfast was good and as a vegetarian, I was able to eat a number of items. The room was big and the clear view of Pacific Ocean from the room was very relaxing. I really appreciated the late night access to the public bath, that allowed me to use it in privacy.

The breakfast was essentially Japanese style so no fruits were available. The air conditioning in the room, even at the lowerest option, was too hot. There was a sticky substance on the table in the room from a previous guest, that hadn't been cleaned properly.

- Staffs could speak English and very helpful. - Onsen is good. - Location is great, can see the sea. Excellent seafood resturant is nearby. - Breakfast is deliciuos and variety. - Parking lot is enough and free.

- Hotel informed we have to process self check-in that made me a bit worry because we arrived there at night. There are staffs available there with very helpfull, very appreciate 😊

Check in was fantastic with this young lady who was full of energy explaining all the hotels features. The size of the room was probably the equivalent to a suite in some other hotels. there was a entrance area in the room with a closet, onsen baskets & drawers to choose which coloured belt you want to wear & a wardrobe. Following in from that there was a mattress & base bed sleeping area & a slightly raised Tatami area with other bedding options storage & low tea serving area. A sitting area with table etc Then a full bathroom with another door leading to sep wash area & wc. Even a peep of the sea & the hotel was surrounded by beautiful old pine trees you could hear the ocean everywhere & the aquarium was across the road. We had breakfast in the main dinning room & it was a fairly majestic experience. Onsen was very nice Not a great deal nearby however with a 10min drive there was shopping/Starbucks/laundrymat.

The room was of an older style Japan and way larger that modern Hotel rooms. You could even open the window with a view over the gardens and let in fresh air. It was so good that I decided to stay an extra night. Located on the seaside for the tourists, right opposite the Aquarium, near the the Shrine and just a short trip to Hitachi Seaside Flower Park.

That I couldn't stay another night, as they were fully booked for the weekend rush.

Dinner at the hotel was an incredible experience! We chose the 5 course option, the sashimi salad and ochazuke were highlights but all of the courses were very good. Staff did a great job informing us about the hotel and what was offered. They also reserved a taxi for us.

Location was perfect close to the aquarium and short distance to the beach.

Wish there was a shuttle service to the train station.

Location was great.Window with view of the ocean was relaxing. Room is spacious enough. King size bed. They have a room with jacuzzi bathtub. They also have Onsen.

It was in a nice location overlooking the ocean. Rooms were clean and large.

Very traditional Japanese hotel - was a bit dated - probably best for a summer stay.

Nice. Buffet was tasty but it was same menu for 5 straight days. And nothing changed compared to last year. Not dramatic change is not expected but minor change was needed.

Old but entirely comfortable.

The hot tub was great.

Would have loved the option to add a pillow top to the mattress to make it more comfortable.
