I recently had the pleasure of staying at HOTEL R9 The Yard Hitachinakaichige in Hitachi, and I must say, it was a genuinely unique experience that impressed me deeply. Staying in a cabin-style hotel is quite rare, and this property stands out as a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience. From the outset, the cabin's design captured my attention with its thoughtful, aesthetic touches that harmonize beautifully with the natural surroundings. Inside, the cabin was beautifully furnished, providing all the modern amenities you could ask for while still maintaining a cozy, welcoming vibe that made it feel like a home away from home. The tranquility of the location added significantly to the experience. Waking up to the soothing sounds of nature right outside my window was rejuvenating and provided a much-needed break from the noise of daily life. The staff at HOTEL R9 The Yard Hitachinakaichige were incredibly hospitable and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The dining experience was another highlight, with meals that showcased local flavors and ingredients, making each dish not only delicious but also a reflection of the area's culinary culture. I wholeheartedly recommend HOTEL R9 The Yard Hitachinakaichige to anyone looking for an exceptional stay in Hitachi. They were so polite and enthusiast to the foreign. The hotel staff was super helpful when I experience a severe abdominal pain, they were actively help me look out for a hospital who can receive a foreign traveler. Lastly the room is great which is much bigger and comfortable than my thought

The location is close by to several restaurants, welcia, convenience stores and by car is also close to the Ibaraki aquarium and Ajigaura beach. It is a prime location for many other locations. The rooms were comfortable, and clean.

Cozy space but completely perfect item to stay especially massage armchair and microwave. I can eat at midnight by freeze meal that supports by hotel. Love softy bed and clean room.

I was impressed by the unconventional design of this hotel using containers. It creates quite an intriguing aesthetics in architecture and a unique experience. Inside, the rooms surprising fit the comfort of a standard business hotel. The convenient location and free parking were a plus for this stay and experience. The hotel also offers free bento-meal which can be taken from the reception counter and heated using the microwave in the room. They have a massage chair which can be used freely in the room which enhanced our overall relaxation and comfort.

The bathroom unfortunately had a strong sewage smell, likely due to poor plumbing in the container structure design. This made our time in the room less comfortable than we'd hoped. Additionally, there was an unexpected situation on our checkout. We went out early morning around 5am to catch the sunrise and returned around 8am to take a few hours rest before we check-out at 10am. We discovered housekeeping had already cleaned our room and processed our checkout, despite the official 10am checkout time. The staff was kind enough to offer us another room for the remaining two hours, though we opted out to start our day early instead. I'd kindly suggest adjusting the housekeeping protocol to better protect guest privacy by waiting until after the designated checkout time to process housecleaning and check-out. Also, please improve the plumbing infrastructure for a more comfortable guest experience.
