Everything was absolutely perfect, the staff were fantastic. The hotel is in a good location above the bus center so you can catch the city circle bus from the station. The onsen is a highlight. The staff really looked after my 9 year old daughter and made her trip very memorable. We use the hotel as a base to ski Iwate resorts.

Great modern hotel, the rooms were nicely laid out with great facilities and a nice balcony and view. The staff were extremely friendly and keen to speak English. There is a bar/cafe beside the lobby that has occasional live musical performances and serves wonderful food and coffee, the staff here were also very polite and friendly - a running theme of most places in Morioka but I wanted to highlight it here. Fantastic restaurant bar on the floor beneath and great street food spots on the ground floor. The location is good with the bus station being directly beneath the hotel and the train station a short walk/taxi ride at the end of the road. Highly recommend, loved my stay here and it is definitely on my list for the next time I visit.

If you are thinking of visiting Morioka you will so enjoy your stay in the city. Save yourself time and just go ahead and book your reservation at this hotel. In short, excellent staff that will answer any and all questions, room is excellent in size with a modern sleek decor, and this location can't be beat. To expand further, we stayed at the hotel for 10 days. The staff gave us restaurant suggestions that always were spot on. They helped to get us reservations in some really special places too. Across the street is a high end grocery store with a huge selection of ready made meals. For something a little cheaper there is an obento store just 1 block from the hotel which makes them after you've ordered. I know everyone says to save money by getting breakfast at 7-11 while in Tokyo. Please don't do that while staying here. A Western and Japanese breakfast option are offered here for a price. Our Japanese breakfasts were superb and a great way to start the day. And did I mention we were there for 10 days and looked forward to every morning? Our room was excellent, #330. If you are accustomed to Tokyo size, you'll be shocked at how big the room is here. Two beds, couch, chair, long desk, alcove for tea and drinks, separate toilet, sink, and shower. And did I mention the large public bath within the hotel? So convenient. Plus, can't recommend the massage therapist enough who is located right outside the public bath. We went many times and got rid of all those strained travel aches. And another interesting take, this hotel has jazz concerts in their lobby/coffee shop. We saw 4 concerts during our stay. The cocktails are a great price too. The hotel is above the bus center but you cannot hear the buses. They can get you anywhere.

We loved it! The staff is so nice. I forgot something in the wardrobe and they sent it to the next hotel for me. Thanks again for this! But also for everything else. We really enjoyed our stay. As we are travelling with a baby it was perfect that we had breakfast at the hotel which was so tasty and an experience on its own. Great is also that you can use the onsen which is at the same level as the rooms. When we arrived they even had a basin for the baby so we could bath him. The location is perfect. Atractions and good restaurants were near. Don't miss the private garden and tea house Nashoso. We wish Morioka ans it's people all the best. Really, we are fans now.

The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. I guess the air-con in my room does not work and they offer me another room with a comfortable heater. They handle my questions and recommended a very nice restaurant to us. . The staff speak English which helps.

The air-conditioning does not work but they handled the issue immediately and satisfactorily when I told them.

Everything is perfect from public bath to the room facility. The staffs are very helpful with getting us taxi to booking spa for us!

The location is a bit difficult to find. Once you find it everything works out smoothly.

Excellent boutique hotel right in the heart of pretty Morioka. We had a Superior Twin, which was large (33sq mrts), had comfortable beds, separate lounge, Nesspresso, and desk area. Attached to the hotel and free for guests, is a high standard public bath and sauna - that we used morning and evening. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you have a car, there is free parking next door at the "Morioka Bus Centre Side Parking" (hotel is on Floor 3 above the bus centre). 5 - 7 mins walk to the castle and river. Shops, restaurants and cafes all around. Would stay here again.

Most friendly and helpful staff. Always with a smile. Hotel is really close to Iwate Park which was perfect for our visiting during cherry blossom. Go visit Chillin Music Bar for an evening when around. Great experience
