The room was big, nice, comfortable and so were the beds. Bathroom was spaciously compact, very clean and nice. Every day you find a bag with a new set of towels and products at your door. The staff is very kind, attentive and helpful :) All in all a great experience and we liked it a lot and will gladly stay here again.

Strangely one of the "neighbours" were quite loud (in after midnight hours) and in the room above ours there was also a lot going on but fortunately in the morning..

The room is bigger than your usual Japanese hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They do not have an onsite parking however, they collaborate with a number of parking lots around them so it was easy to find parking and pay at the hotel. The room was spotless, the breakfast buffet was well worth it. They have sashimi and freshly cooked tempura fish, veggies etc. Great value for money.

My room was very spacious and beautifully arranged. It really had a "premium" feeling to it. Great location. Morioka is a car-centric city, with a lot of multiple-lanes roads impeding pedestrian traffic. But this hotel is located in the walkable part of the city. Plus, there is a Starbucks right in the (beautiful) lobby. It is quite far from the train station, and there are hotels more convenient in that regard; but the station area is not really a pleasant place to be (lots of cars), so it really depends on what you prioritize. Outstanding breakfast with an incredible number of varied dishes, all delicious. The check-in experience was just perfect.

The bar is overpriced, with a table charge. The elevator is oddly old compared to the rest of the facilities. But it works well and fast, so indeed it would be a waste to replace it. I guess it can be seen as quaint, and this item moved to the plus side...

The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful and only made our experience more memorable. He provided valuable information and recovered our goat milk that we forgot to take when we left. He deserves a raise!

The walking path from the parking lot was rugged and made rolling of our luggage a little difficult.

Room is renovated and specious. Even though the hotel building is old.

My room facing another building. There is no view. The lobby space is shared with Starbuck. Not much of hotel guests common area to relax. No coin laundry machine.

No laundry facilities and air conditioner did not work below 25 degrees so it was a quite warm and had to leave the window open to cool down but then mosquitos got in.

Beautiful hotel and our room was beautiful and spacious. It's about 14 minuets walk from Morioka station at a very lively area with lots of restaurants and izakayas, and it's very close to the castle (we took a taxi to get to the hotel and it was very cheap). There's a starbacks that's a part of the hotel. The staff were great and did their best to help. The breakfast buffe was great (mainly japanese food)

Fantastic hotel, very clean, good size rooms for Japan, well located and brilliant staff. Convenience store really close and Starbucks in the hotel lobby.

The room was very pleasant with a good set up. It was nice to have a sofa and the bath was larger than some business hotels. Starbucks on the first floor was convenient for breakfast.

The smoking room was in the hall outside our room. We could smell some smoke in our room, but it wasn't overpowering. The rates were high, but probably to be expected because of Obon.

The room was large and beautiful 😻. It was located conveniently to walk around the points of interest in the town. There were some great eateries nearby as well.
