It is easy to get here on the bus from the Yunishigawa Onsen station. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The place was very peaceful, and it was nice to hear the sound of the rushing river. There were chairs in the room so you don't have to always sit on the floor. The room numbering system was a bit confusing but the map given at check in was very helpful. (Minimal English spoken.) The rotenburo (outdoor bath) was fanstastic with views of the snowy trees and hillside on the other side of the river.

Good food with the authentic japanese flavors and taste. The only small little dislike might be the scarcity of high end japanese food like japanese uni sea urchin or unagi japanese eels. Then of course just a small little comments as it is not likely to get these materials in most resort vicinity. Cheeers...

Not much as I've stated on the above. The journey might be a long one before arrival but we all enjoyed the ride and the passing scenery.

Very good value, the staff I spoke to were nice, the baths are great and the area is on the riverside in a beautiful forest.

The facilities may be difficult to navigate for people with disabilities. The outdoor bath has no hand rails and uneven surfaces so my grandpa who is mostly blind and cannot walk well said he almost fell. It is a bit far from popular touristing sites such as Nikko Toshogu and the Lake Chuzenji.

The breakfast and dinner options were really good. The onsite onsen was really lovely. The staff were helpful although spoke limited English. Rooms were spacious.

The building is a little dated and some areas were a little bit dusty.

The location was good. On the way to Heike no Sato. Can take loop bus from Yunishigawa station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner was good.

The breakfast and dinner buffet was great, huge variety. The surrounding nature was magnificent. The bath in the onsen felt amazing.

Love that place. Nice and attentive staff. Great size rooms. Amazing onsen. especially the outdoor pool. Its all surrounded with trees... just a great expiriance.
