Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was good value. Overall good value compared to other places. Facilities were generally good (see comment below). Shuttle to take you to the slopes (and pick up / drop off at bus station) was always on time.

Unfortunately some of the other guests in the hostel vomited in the hall and men's bathroom, and again next night in the men's bathroom - its was disgusting. I felt sorry for the staff, who I assume cleaned it up as it was gone when we came back those days from skiing. So all things being equal, if you don't need to use the share facilities and can afford the room with your own toilet and shower - then this might be a good idea. You need to get bus back from the slopes - there's quite a few options so not too bad when you get used to it.

I liked everything, they even have 2 power points at the bedside. Provided shuttle us to hirafu 08, 0830, 09 every morning maybe other times as well. Breakfast starts early if you want to be at lift opening but goes late for sleepy bones. Hanazono shuttle and east hirafu and late night / downtown red shuttle goes nearby as well as local bus lines. Otherwise only 30 minute walk. Staff are nice, restaurant is good. 711 across the road has beverages and snacks. Clinic is just up the road if you get injured. Pretty sure they’ll pick you up from Kutchan or welcome centre too but organise that. I wish them all the best and hope to be back.

The shuttle pick up & drop off to & from the Hirafu welcome center and ski bus in the morning are great- it makes the location of the hotel very easy! It is a bit further from everything, but there are night buses for a little and it is walking distance to a few things. The beds were extremely comfortable, really nice after a long day of skiing. Also having the secure ski room below was great to have everything dry out overnight, ready for the next day, without creating a massive puddle in your own room. The breakfast and the restaurant were very good, also really nice being right across from a 7-11.

It was hard to do too much late because of the location after the night buses stop early in the evening & the Japanese taxi app wouldn't work on our phones. In addition to the ski bus, having an evening shuttle to an onsen or downtown to restaurants would be very helpful.

I heard about Ecolodge from a friend and I was impressed and would absolutely go back. The staff is very accommodative, they picked us up from Kutchan Station in the evening right on time when our train arrived. The breakfast is also sensational, which is nice to have before a long day of snowboarding. And they also do dinner, which is convenient for nights you just want to go back to the lodge.

The rooms were a bit small, but you get what you pay for and it works for the purposes of your stay (assuming you'll be out and about for most of the day). WiFi (virtually nonexistent) also needs significant improvement if you don't have high speed data.

The included breakfast was good. The onsite restaurant is not expensive. Staff was friendly. They provide a free shuttle from the Kutchan station when you arrive and also a shuttle to the Hirafu base in the morning (it's not easy to get around on your own there). I booked this place because it was the cheapest I could find in Niseko. I guess accounting for that, it was not bad. It was also kinda last minute booking. If I were to go to Niseko again and this place would be the cheapest, I would stay again.

The rooms are not very big for 4 people. Wifi was quite bad, almost not working in the rooms, but better in the hall. The hotel is a few bus stops from the Hirafu base. There is a free night shuttle in the evening to get to the Kutchan town, but the shuttle bus is small and by the time it reaches the hotel stop, it's full so you can't get on it. Unfortunately, the transport system in Niseko is not great during the busy season so you do need those free shuttles.

BEST BUDGET HOTEL I have ever stayed in! The Staff are Very very nice and very helpful, they are patient, provide detailed and helpful information, and even provided Pick-Up and Drop-off from and to the station. The Room is very clean and very versatile, you can have it cold, chill, warm or hot because the heater comes with many levels. The Facilities such as the Laundry, Ski Storage, Dryers, Toilet, Showers, all are perfectly clean and maintained. The view is very very amazing as well, everything is so perfect. We love it and would definitely stay here again when we come to Niseko

Nothing, maybe the location is far from any Authentic Japanese restaurants, but other than that everything is perfect

Really great affordable option in Niseko. The place is really clean and the staff are lovely and even though it is busy it is pretty quiet in the rooms. The location is slightly out of the thick of it but the daily shuttle is awesome and drops you at the base of the mountain. The breakfast was great.

Wi fi was terrible, barely works anywhere in the whole building, which is annoying when you are relying on having it at your accomodation, The beds were pretty uncomfy but it is a lodge and you get what you pay for.

The staff were so nice and lovely!!! Would recommend the accom just for that alone! The place has breakfast and dinner and the occasional lunch service. They offer to pick you up from Kutchan station which was lovely and they were able to drop me back off there too. Right opposite 7/11 and the bus stop up the the mountain. They also offer bus services to/from the slopes.

Only downside was the wifi connection only time it was good was the middle of the day when most people were out on the slopes

Breakfast and dinner being included in the cost of the stay was a really good value, especially considering that the stay was a great price. The shuttle only runs in the morning, but was still very convenient for getting to town or to the resort to snowboard. Other amenities like the gear room were also very nice.

A lot of the other guests were a bit on the younger side and didn't treat the facilities very well, so the bathrooms were sometimes in tough shape.
