It is a short walk to the Shotengai and you can access it easily by going to the 2nd floor of the hotel, all the way being sheltered. The staff were very helpful and friendly and even offered us locally made Kabosu drinks for opting out of having our room cleaned daily. As we requested for a baby cot, they were able to arrange for one in our room and provided child toiletries in the room and even at check-in too. The hotel is located beside Oasis Tower which has a Family Mart so buying some snacks was easy and convenient.

The breakfast buffet did seem a bit too expensive for the selection of food but overall still a decent breakfast (2500yen per person, free for children under 6 years old). Also, the info about the hotel states that only 3 parking spaces are available at the hotel, however, there are many more spaces available in the basement (subject to availability and to a charge of 1000yen per day) - so that could be made clearer on their site.

The hotel is centrally located, right by the arcade mall and within walking distance of all the shopping areas and restaurants. It also sits at the intersection of two major streets, one that runs to Beppu or south Oita or an entrance to Kyushu Expressway if you plan on driving to other parts of Kyushu. The facility is on the older side, with an outdated bathroom and fewer outlets to charge devices, but these are all tolerable. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with local flavors.

I booked two rooms, with two people per room. Somehow, that was not communicated to the hotel from booking.com, and we had to pay extra on-site.

This is a very good hotel. The room was large with good facilities and comfortable bed. The staff were excellent. Binus- underground parking with elevator straight into hotel lobby. No advance booking for breakfast but you can pay on the day or add to your room charge. I had breakfast on my last morning- good selection, well cooked foods.

The hotel is well situated in Oita City in close proximity to the train station and covered shopping gallery. The breakfast had a good variety of dishes and were clearly marked with common allergens. The room was spacious and clean. We were lucky enough to be on the 17th floor and had a great view of the bay, mountains, and the city below. Staff were helpful and kind.

The hotel was celebrating its 5th anniversary when we were there, but the building felt much older than that. Everything was clean, but felt a little worn.

Located near the shopping street in Oita and walking distance to Amu plaza mall. Room was clean. We had amazing views of the township, Beppu and mountains close by. Breakfast spread was excellent with local and continental delights!

Needed to pay for carpark with was underground below the hotel.

The room is spacious and the service from the hotel staffs are excellent. I like the variety of breakfast. The location is very good. I can cross the street and find many restaurants around there. The train station is about 1 km. for walking. It’s the nice area to walk around,

Carpark is not free

I left my sunglasses at another hotel, and have to had it sent earlier to Nikko Oita who kindly accepted and paid on my behalf before I checked in..Great service.

Nice room view and clean, the hotel area is safe and quiet.

The lobby lounge is close too early. We can’t enjoy the drink in there after our meals.
