Nice Onsen, my room was very cheap and clean. I think it is a converted retirement home? So the rooms look like from a hospital, but are spacious compared to business hotels.

I didn't care about the look of the hotel rooms (Onsen available and not expensive). Don't expect nice ryokan rooms. The mattress could be too soft for some people.

Quick walk to the ski resort. Very clean. Yes, it was an old folks home at one point- but on a positive note, wide doorways sure made it easy to transport luggage and ski bags! They do have a very basic ski room at entrance, but more for just skis/boards and poles. I brought soft gear to my room and used very large bathroom to dry and hang gear. Restaurant is amazing! Included breakfast is great. The dinners I had were amazing. Staff is very helpful and kind. Laundry room- wash is free and dry takes about 300 yen (100/20min.) Sauna seemed new and very nice. Bus stop right across the street.

Ceiling in the onsen indoor pool/ washroom seemed to have some mold. Decor is a bit drab, mostly beige hallways. Would have bought more cute souvenirs if gift shop wasn’t cash only.

The Onsens were so nice and clean the out door one was beautiful. The Japanese style rooms were so comfortable. It was right across from Asari skiing. The bus stop was less than two minutes away. They had maps and travel guides. The staff was super nice. The breakfast was amazing I definitely recommend adding it to your package.

I went in April so the skiing could’ve been better and the rental gear wasn’t my favorite so I recommend bringing it if you really are concerned with performance. But that has nothing to do with how the stay actually was.

Wonderful Japanese style accommodations immediately across from a great little ski area. Eat breakfast looking at the sick pow you’re going to shred in a few hours. Après ski, wear your hotel issued matching jammies to the onsen. What’s not to love? You must expect Japanese style accommodation and breakfast.

You must expect Japanese beds and food. No shower in the rooms, so you have to bathe at the onsen (perfect).

While they didn’t speak English, this is great because I wanted the non-westernised experiment. The onsen within the hotel is pretty simple, but having it within the hotel is priceless. The location to the slopes is ideal. I used a ski locker at the resort too FYI for skiers/boarders

No facilities for skis and ski boots etc. It’s not set up like a traditional ski resort hotel, which was fine but just an FYI. The nearest convenience store/supermarket isn’t that nearby, so be tactful with shopping etc if you don’t plan on eating at the hotel every night.

The hot springs were great and it's very close to the ski lifts. It was very nice to jump into the open air springs after a day of skiing.

I couldn't go to the restaurant because I didn't make a reservation, I didn't realise I'd need one even though I'd booked a room already.

Hotel is just opposite a small ski resort but it is about 20minutes from Sapporo International Ski Grand. Outdoor Onsen looks big in the picture but actually it is much smaller but nice. The Sauna room is on the outside just beside the Outdoor Onsen.

There are almost no restaurants nearby. Also no convenience mart around.

-average onsen; water too hot -no shower in room -was once a nursing home -no sheltered parking

Nice onsen and good beds. Staff didn't really speak english but were very helpful. Laundry possibility was good. Breakfast had to be booked and was full some mornings :/ I recommend the local izakaya near by for dinner!
