We had a Japanese style room, which is very spacious for us and 2 kids. The big window is facing the forest/ mountain, the view is very nice when it’s snowing. Onsen is definitely a highlight of the hotel!There’s a young man(with injured arm) and a young lady works in the morning shift at front desk, helped me to phone different hospital, as my daughter was sick and need medical treatment. I appreciate it very much.

There’s another young lady working for late shift, I asked for her help to call Restaurants for dinner reservations. The 1st and 2nd night she called for me, the 3rd night she showed me by google translate that” help guests to phone outside restaurants are rejected by the hotel” seems I was asking for too much help. The breakfast choices for western guests are very limited.

The mattress was comfortable. The service was great. I loved it when I could have new towels, water and toiletries everyday without disturbing. The staff was very friendly and nice. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located in the nature and the bus stop is right next to the hotel. We could just walk along the creek, had a cup of coffee and fresh bread at a cafè nearby. There is a great restaurant called Masaru-mura. It's just 5 mins walk. They have grilled meat, fresh seafood and many more things to enjoy and we tried them and they were extreamly good. Overall, we enjoyed staying here so much.

- The room had a bit of smell. I was not sure if someone smoked or not because I could also smell it from the corridor. - It would be better if the hotel can provide different choices of breakfast. Having the same breakfast every morning was a bit boring.

the private onsen was the best! free breakfast was good but wish that they would change the selections. the view at breakfast is beautiful as you can see the asarigawa ski resort mountains. the location is super convenient if doing ski/snow activities. there is a big grocery store very close by to stock up on essentials and food. very close to Otaru town.

the fact that breakfast did not change day to day. limited gift shops.

Rustic and clean! Friendly and helpful staff. Room was exceptional. We had a family suite for 4 that was probably one of the largest Japanese hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. It also had its own semi-outdoor bath and SAUNA!

It was a bit isolated, so we had to taxi everywhere. The cost can add up quickly. Recommend a rental car if you can swing it.

This is a very relaxing natural Onsen hotel. It is a place where you can leave your worries behind and enjoy the quietness and relaxing atmosphere with everything catered for. Room was large, dinner sumptuous, good selection of buffet spread for breakfast, daily piano recitals in the lobby in the evenings and most of all the relaxing outdoor Onsen.

Nothing much to complain about! Not something the property can do anything about but if there is a konbini nearby it would be perfect. Maybe e-bicycle rentals to get to the convenience store a few kilometers away would help.

We really enjoyed staying here. The onsen was great and the room was large. We could walk to the ski field and some of the restaurants nearby.

The bathroom shower was so hot my children struggled to shower. Even when the tap was on cold. The bathroom also had a slight smell.

The rooms were nice and big and comfortable. The onsen was also really nice, and it was good to have a massage on site.

If you dont make a reservation for the restaurant then they sit you downstairs with a limited menu.

We were very comfortable and absolutely loved the onsen! Easy access to Asari ski area. Lovely view of the ski area from our window. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Loved the after dinner piano music in the main lobby!

Quiet place in a remote area of the town. There is a bus can ride to town center according to schedule.
