Clean and spacious with everything we needed. Great kitchen setup with all the dinnerware, cutlery, cooking utensils etc. Great bathroom and shower. Warm and comfortable duvets and bed linens. Staff were lovely! Great location with just 20 minutes by car to Sapporo Kokusai Ski resort and about 40 minutes to Kiroro and Teine. Supermarkets, convenience stores, onsens all very close by!

Nothing. Although be aware that some of the cottages only have Japanese style seating on floor in the living room. It didn't bother us though!

The spaciousness of our cabin and loft set-up accommodated our big family very well. Our kids really enjoyed the different sleeping platforms. We also liked the close proximity to the ski hill. We would have liked to stay longer to enjoy the other amenities Winkel offers (BBQing), and would definitely consider staying again.

Bus access from Otaru Station is limited (runs every hour), so a cab or rental vehicle is highly recommended.

It's very close to Asarigawaonsen ski resort, and easy to get to from Otaruchikko. The apartment was very comfortable, spacious, and very clean. The private onsen on the terrace was amazing. The place is also incredibly quiet and relaxing.

The lower sleep arrangement is too low for adults and the property doesn’t have closet or drawers so we put everything there but every time we were looking for clothes we have to stand in a bending position which was a bit uncomfortable.

Great cottage to stay at, very large for a family of 5 with plenty of room. Location was amazing, close to the ski fields.

The futon beds, A little hard if your not use to that type of bedding.

Winkel Village is the perfect homestay for a peaceful and cozy getaway! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

It was nice to have a night where we could cook dinner together and have a bit of a "home away from home" experience. The outdoor bath was beautiful and we particularly enjoyed the fact that you could open a window to feel the winter wind directly.

Very good apartment with very good private onsen. Highly recommended.
