This is a very nice lodging space. It's separate wings on the second floor of a tourist shopping center. The hotel lobby is separate and you need to exit your room and walk outside to access. Overall I was happy with my stay. It's right on the Kyu-Karuizawa shopping street. But otherwise not much around. Would be best with with a car (which I did not have)

The neighborhood closes very early and only a few restaurants with in 5 minute walk. This was a weekend during winter season so may be more happening in summer. The hotel didn't really have any other amenities other than a bar. There are no stores nearby to buy water and snacks so it felt kinda isolated.

Incredibly clean and well presented establishment with great pricing on accomodation. The staff were very warm and welcoming as well as helpful during my stay. I would highly recommend staying here!

Not that this is any fault of the hotel itself but if you are going to stay here and visit the Prince Ski Resort/hit the slopes really early in the morning, the busses and taxis don't operate until 8am-9am (can't remember exactly). This happened to me and it was about a 30-40 minute walk. Again, not a fault of the hotel but something that I didn't realise at the time of my stay and just something to be wary of as there is a bit of distance between here and the ski resort.

The room was very spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower felt fantastic after a day of walking and exploring. The staff deserve to be commended as well because they were so friendly and welcoming. I really wish I had a chance to thank all of them personally. The location is amazing as well because the hotel is located right above a shopping district and connected to Ginza street.

If I had one minor nitpick it would just be that there was no laundry facility here or anywhere nearby. I would say if you’ve already been traveling within Japan for some time before you make your way here then try to get some laundry done first. Again, this is splitting hairs because our overall stay here was fantastic!

Location is excellent as well as the parking facility. Highly recommend this hotel to people who do self driving. The hotel is just next to a large parking lot with many parking spaces. And the parking is free.

There is a serious lack of signage in the hotel. It took us a long time to find the entrance and the reception front desk. It can be very frustrating if one can't find the entrance into the hotel in the middle of a cold winter night.

Spacious room. Very clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Close to older area of town with great shopping and local goods. Shopping outlet near station was great, good bargains. Local coffee shop was amazing, pricey but worth a visit. Kawasaki an, soba noodle restaurant great food and worth going for meal. Visit Shirato falls and Kumoba pond

Staff wasn't able to provide some information, not major issue but could have been better informed.

The staff were the nicest bunch of people who were also very helpful with everything, from food recommendations to luggage forwarding. The staff were also very communicative when I emailed them before my arrival. The hotel is new. The hotel and room decor is gorgeous, and the room is very spacious. The hotel had thoughtful touches like leaving baby toiletries in the room when I told them I was bringing a baby with me. It is also in a superb location - its back entrance leads right into Ginza old street, with plenty of food choices and shops.

The staff were excellent. They were helpful and friendly, and they spoke English. The location was very convenient. While walking around the area we could just pop back to the hotel to drop off some shopping or pick up a jacket in the evening. It was great. The decor was designed well and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Also, it was very nice to have a cozy bar at the hotel to have a drink at in the evening.

Excellent staff. Hats off to Hyun for making the stay memorable. Rooms were great, spacious and so well thought out in terms of design and functionality. The hotel above the mall and next to the main Karuizawa street made getting food and shopping for souvenirs and gifts easy.

Breakfast was quite underwhelming

Location is about 2 km. from JR station, but you can take the bus to Kyo-Karuizawa (around 100-160 yen each) or taxi (around 1200 yen) which you can find both in front of the station. (I think it's can be 3-4 persons maximum for one taxi - it's up to your luggage size). The hotel is just in the middle of walking street, where you can find lots restaurants and shops around there - in walking distance. - Staffs are very helpful and nice. (they help to call taxi on the check-out date to the station - which leave you nothing to worry about) - Room is clean and well prepared.

- I think the bed is not that comfy. (It's clean and well prepared anyway). - Type of the room is in the L-shape, so it leave not much space for living area. There is a sofa (which is comfy, but not very practicable for 4 persons to use. Also, there are no small table at the sofa.

Rooms are big and clean. A room for 5 people can accommodate more than that. There are some good stores near property, also good restos that are just walking distance. I like how rooms are situated in a way that it's like a demi villa, where the hallway is at the outdoor and not the hotel type.

Staff are helpful but there are just a handful esp at lobby. No more staff at 10 or 11 pm.
