Loved the modern design and had a super comfortable stay. The hotel is actually even nicer in person than in the photos. I almost didn’t book because the pictures looked a bit retro, but in reality, it’s very modern and feels brand new. Would definitely come back.

The hotel is beautifully designed and very comfortable, but it was a bit confusing to know which areas guests are allowed in. Around 4 PM, the restaurant was empty, so I tried to walk through to see the fireplace I saw in reviews, which mentioned it as a common space for hotel guests. I thought we could exit that way, but a staff member stopped me and asked me to use the hotel entrance instead. It was a little embarrassing, though I understand the policy — clearer signage or guidance for guests would really help.

This was an incredible hotel. Both in the beautiful space and the amenities! The breakfast was delicious and what we couldn't believe was the "snack free-for-all". at 9:15 every night the offer UNLIMITED alcohol and snacks to guests. It was such an amazing feature and something you would never see in the US. The staff was also incredibly helpful. A baggage delivery company lost my luggage and they spent so much time on the phone tracking it down - which they did! We really loved it.

Nothing - Twin Line is great!

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were comfy! My favorite part was the free tea all day and the 9:15-10:30 free-flow snacks and drinks by the fireplace in the restaurant area. Also, they have many different things you can rent for free while staying there. There are many options, from games to massagers to beauty products and more. Overall, I really enjoyed by stay with my family here.

As vegetarians, it was difficult for us to coordinate breakfast as the options were very limited, but they did their best to do whatever they could for us.

Located within walking distance of the Karuizawa station and the Old Ginza district. The room is decently sized, with comfortable pjs/loungewear. There was a nightly window of complimentary snacks and drinks, which you could enjoy in the lounge area or take to your room.

The reception area is rather cramped, sandwiched between the restaurant and main entryway, so it can get a bit congested if other guests or diners are lingering. Not sure why or whether it's an ongoing issue, but the elevator smelled unpleasant.

We only stayed one night at Twin-Line Karuizawa before heading to Shiraito no Taki early the next morning, but we truly wish we’d had more time to enjoy it. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Our room was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. It’s also in a great location—perfect for visiting the waterfall, with the bus stop just a few steps from the entrance. We’re so grateful for the experience.

Excellent stay at Twin Line. Was very surprised by the free rental items available for guests. We rented the foot massager, hair dryer and pillow free of charge. Although the room is compact, it was very comfortable. The staff were very efficient, helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is great too. It’s within walking distance between the train station and the old Ginza shopping street. Highly recommended!

A stylish hotel, with all the intelligent designs inside the room, satisfied all our needs despite the limited space. Warm and cozy, lovely designs everywhere. Spotlessly clean. Staff spoke good English and provided excellent service on the whole. Very good breakfast. The free flow drinks at 9:30-10:30pm every night was definitely a bonus. Generous supply of different types of alcohol as well as non-alcoholic drinks, and quite a lot of snacks. The whole restaurant was open for guests to gather and chat freely, creating the most leisurely and joyful atmosphere. Our group loved it so much!

Will be perfect if the room light could be brighter and room size a little bigger.

The staff is friendly. The room is clean. There are free drinks and snacks, and a nice lounge for guests to enjoy in the evening. The hotel is situated on the main street in Karuizawa, which makes it convenient to visit many other places. There is ample parking for guests who drive.

It would be better if the room has a flask to boil hot water.

The Hotel is very modern, chic and warm. Really love the deco of the restaurant and lounge area. However the check in area is rather a let down with a very small reception. Staff are nice and friendly. The room is small as always in Japan standard but the beds are comfortable enough to have a good night sleep. Lights are a little dim especially for older people like us but it's a very minor issue for us as we only stayed for 1 night. There's no onsen/bath in the hotel but they provide many choices of salt for your bath in the room. Breakfast was excellent. But the coffee is not strong enough for us. We would prefer to have espresso rather than American coffee. I would be nice to have good coffee to start the day! Free alcohol/drinks/snacks/ice cream from 9.15pm for 90minutes. Rates are double on weekend so we find it not value for money but we have no other choices.

Reception area is small and not welcoming. Coffee is not good. We don't like Americano (we love our espresso and cappuccino). No Onsen. Light in the room is a little dim.

The design of the hotel is chic yet comfortable The working team in the hotel is very international and professional The fireplace is open to hotel guests at night for a time period with free flow drinks. It is a very good experience relaxing there The room isn't large but very much adequate
