This is a fantastic hotel; location, service, amenities, and the room were all excellent. The people at the front desk were friendly and very helpful, this applied to literally 5-6 people I had interacted with. The service was great, even after electing not to have our room made up, we came back to fresh waters and towels by the door. The room was spacious and very clean. We had the traditional Japanese room, two double beds with a tatami area, for a family of 4, two kids 11 and 14, there were plenty of space for us. Futons were available for the tatami area which was perfect the kids, and the beds were much softer than the typical hotels in Japan. Separate shower and toilet room, both with sinks, was also very convenient. There’s also a library next to a lounge area with a cozy fireplace and cushy leather chairs and free espresso and drinks. I was able to get some work done without being disturbed as it was very quiet. The hotel is about a 7-8 min leisure walk from the Kariuzawa station, super quiet neighborhood, though it may be because the ski season had virtually ended. It took around 10-15 min walk from the hotel to the outlet shopping area in the south side of the station, which had all of the restaurants. The location was superb, easy to find places to eat and get to the ski resort, a 10 min free bus ride from the outlet area.

1. No laundry We went to this hotel during the Chinese New Year, so it's more pricey than a usual period. BUT if we compare with the price in all the ski resorts nearby, the price is reasonable.

The location - very close by to the station. Very walkable. Close to the outlet mall. Ample parking space FOC at hotel property if you rent a car. Car rental is 15 mins walk away. Family Mart directly opposite with just about everything you need especially if you have a family and need stuff. They even have warm inner clothing items during winter.

The staff members while efficient and polite, were rigid. Like when we asked for assistance to book a resto next door for dinner before we set out to see the snow monkeys (1.5 hrs drive away), we were told they can help with request but we had to be physically back at reception at 2pm for them to do so. #facepalm

About a 10min walk from Karuizawa station but environment was nice and quiet. Had a small store selling vegetables next to Family mart (which is opposite the hotel). Hotel has a nice lounge to rest, to eat and read books. Room was catered for 3 person (2 persons had a double bed each, the 3rd person had a futon to sleep on). Beds were comfortable. Bathroom and toilet was separate, which was useful for the 3 of us.

Breakfast was exceptional and was served in a picnic basket, which was so cute. I wish I could bring the basket home haha. Also, a special shout out to the front office staff, a lady, and a gentleman (sorry, I didn't take down their names, I checked in on 6/3/2024 in the late evening) Thank you for helping to make a police report on my behalf as I was panicking and didn't know what to do. I had lost my wallet at the taxi stand outside the premium outlets. Thankfully someone found the wallet and handed it to the police station.

We had a relaxing 4 nights stay in 2 x Standard Double Rooms - Main Building, and 1 x Standard Twin Room - New Building. Room is clean, bed comfortable, and bathroom layout well configured. Shared lounge area is great for small group travelers to gather and while away with free self-serve beverages (available at certain hours). Non-smoking throughout the hotel is a plus for us. Service staff generally warm, friendly and helpful. Location is excellent - close to JR Train Station, Prince outlet shopping mall, eateries, shops, convenient store plus Delicia supermarket. Free parking for hotel guests.

Hilariously welcoming and complex toilets - so happy to see you every time! The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful. They stored our luggage after check out so that we could enjoy our day and let us into our room early on check-in. Great location: walking distance from the train station, shops and restaurants.

There was rarely anyone at the front desk, although they were very responsive by text to make up for it. And, of course, they would come if you asked them to. I would have liked the ability to get a latte on site somehow, but there were local coffee shops within walking distance.

Daily breakfast given is quite similar and I personally don't eat a lot, so I just feel it was rather wasted. Nevertheless, it was delicious. When I return, I'll just choose without the breakfast option.

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Karuizawa station. Take the north exit on the bridge/walkway after coming up from Shinkansen platform, it's the left. There's a tourist info with helpful people at the end of the corridor, and an escalator next to it. Once you come out, with your back to the station, walk straight down the road, and take left at the first traffic light, near the Shell station. The hotel is opposite Family Mart. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was generous-sized with an ante-room which has a fridge, some storage cupboards and the main room is nice and big with a good-sized bed. They provide 2 bottles of water. You can take day trips to Naka Karuizawa, Shiraiito Falls among other destinations using the bus service outside the station. It's a lot easier if you have Suica card or you will need to carry many 1000 yen notes. On the way back you can you can stop off at Kyu Karuizawa and walk the streets of Old Ginza. It can also be reached by foot, takes about 25-30 minutes.

The breakfast baskets delivered to the room were cute. Nice experience, quality was OK. I prefer a buffet-style breakfast but this was a pleasant concept. Location is excellent for the station and also for the outlet shopping mall. The 2F lounge with coffee and juice was nice. Free parking and good location to reach other Karuizawa spots by car.

If this place had its own onsen it would be amazing - but no complaints, this was a nice place to stay.
