The owners can speak chinese so it makes communication easy, furthermore they’re also super nice and friendly, never hesitating to offer help and recommendations of the area. Rooms are really clean and slightly larger than most hotels you can find in Japan. Location is near the train station and Tomita farm is just a 20mins walk away. The breakfast was amazing and the bread was handmade by the owner, making the breakfast extra heartwarming.

may be a little difficult to access the hotel by train as the road towards the property is rocky and uphill so if you are with luggage, it’s recommended to take a taxi instead

It truly felt like home—clean, fresh-smelling, with beautifully handmade breakfast, and most importantly, the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They thoughtfully prepared a personalized map for each guest, highlighting nearby attractions and restaurants, complete with QR codes that link directly to Google Maps for easy navigation. Every time I came and went, they greeted me warmly, always ready with helpful advice and a genuine interest in hearing about my day. I only stayed for two days, but somehow, returning to the hotel to share my experiences with the hosts became one of the most memorable parts of my trip.

Locate near the famous Lavender fields. Free parking on site. All areas, towels and sheets are clean and new. Their English communication are great. You can access the second floor only by stairs but there is an elevator for luggage. The welcome coffee (freshly ground beans from coffee making machine) is available and they accepted our request to drink it in the next morning instead of the check-in evening. There is also a coffee capsule machine in the room but we'd like to drink fresh coffee from the machine at the lobby.

The air conditioner in the room was auto off and on several times in the middle of the night. The Japanese style room has limited space for the luggage so we had to open only one luggage at a time and blocked the doorway.

The place exudes a homely feeling. After staying in a series of hotels around Hokkaido, the place almost reminds me of home. Correspondences with the owners had quick responses - less than 2 hours. Love the lift that brought our luggage to the room on the 2nd floor, the view from our window and the homemade loaves and strawberry jam made by the owner’s wife. For those who drive, the hotel provided a map of tourist spots with map codes - excellent!

I arrived after 7pm, all the eateries near the hotel were closed. Nevertheless, we ate instant noodles with hot water provided by the owners.

Small (7 rooms), intimate, and meticulously clean, this hotel is run by a husband-and-wife team who started it six years ago. It feels like a labor of love for their retirement, offering a highly personalized and warm experience. Staying here feels a bit like being at your grandparents’ home—but rest assured, the standards are as high as any professional hotel. There’s a washer and dryer available for 500 JPY, but you’ll need to book in advance since there’s only one. Breakfast is complimentary, and while it’s not a buffet, the menu changes slightly every day to keep things fresh. When we left, the couple waved us goodbye, just like caring grandparents—it was so endearing!

I wish there were a Japanese option for breakfast or a small buffet to choose from. If you don’t drive, this property is not the most pedestrian-friendly, especially in winter. The walk uphill from the station can be challenging. I stayed in a tatami room but found it uncomfortable for extended periods due to my back pain. If you have back issues, I recommend avoiding tatami rooms, as sitting on the floor and sleeping on futons might not be ideal. This isn’t a negative reflection on the hotel itself—just a note to consider your comfort and preferences when booking.

Such a cute little inn with a beautiful view of the Hokkaido mountains! We stopped here to stay the night before exploring the area and it did not disappoint. The couple running the place was super sweet and helpful and the place was impeccably clean and comfortable. They even helped bring up our luggage via a luggage elevator. The breakfast was DELICIOUS and worth the stay alone! Please take note to follow the traditional Japanese rules of removing your shoes at the front and wearing the provided slippers.

Everything was phenomenal, no complaints

This is definitely the place you want to stay when exploring Furano and surrounds. The inn is cozy and super clean, with all the amenities you can wish for, and the couple who run the property are super kind and treat you like royalty.

It’s not a negative but you probably want to have a (rental) car to be flexible and enjoy this glorious part of Hokkaido, rather than having to rely on public transport. Especially if you wan lt to ski at Furano or (a bit further away, but absolutely do-able) Tomamu and Kamui, like we did.

Everything was perfect. You can tell there was a ton of thought put into every detail of the Inn. The owners are super friendly and welcoming, tons of great advice, maps, restaurant recommendations etc. Nice view of the mountains from the 2nd floor western room we booked. Seicomart and Lawson 5ish minute walk away for quick breakfast/snacks or an easy dinner. Farm Tomita is just a few minutes by car down the road, it wąs beautiful even in late September.

Everything was wonderful. We had a car so it wasn't an issue, but only a restaurant or two within reasonable walking distance and the closest one was closed during our stay late Sept 2024.

The breakfast was a good portion of healthy food and well prepared. The ingredients were fresh. The bread was soft and warm and tasted very good. There was free flow of cold and hot beverages. There was take away cup too for coffee. The room was clean and well maintained. There was enough room for us to pack and unpack with ease. The bed was comfortable . It is very near to the many flower gardens and eateries in the area. Most of them about 15-20 minutes drive away.

The inn was clean and well maintained, owned by a wonderful couple. They had great food and flower farm recommendations which guided us to visit the most beautiful blooms🌷 The breakfast we ate was also exceptional! Absolutely delicious! The breakfast platter is all home made and it came with a huge slice of honey melon that was in season. The bread buns are made with Hokkaido Flour with made it extra fluffly and yummy, while the salad was freshly picked from their own small farm at the back of the inn. It is located in the middle of the main attractions and is easy to find. Everything about the stay exceeded our expectations. Will highly recommend a stay with them!
