View of Mt. Tokachi from our Japanese styled room. Family friendly Ryokan. The tradition styled wooden onsen with the open aired option had a great view of the mountains! They provided Yukata and slippers in child sizes which was great! Felt nostalgic, as some of the furniture like the safe was from the 80s-90s.

(1)There was no dinner and breakfast available. We had to buy the 200 yen per cup noodle for our dinner. We checked out at 10am to take the cab which was about 7000 yen to JR Naka Furano Train Station. Where we bought food from the 7-eleven. (2) No shuttle buses up to where this Ryokan is. Hence, spent 9000+7000 yen just for the cab up and down. (3) The free wifi was not working.

Really nice and traditional ryokan, in one of the most beautiful parks in Hokkaido! Staff was absolutely amazing, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable! Rooms are big and very spacious, and the onsen is very nice aswell. Also had a nice lounge with free snacks and drinks!

Nothing. Just remember to bring your own food as there are no shops nearby; however, the stay sells instant food and snacks

Really friendly staff, great location, incredible food, very nice onsen. The apres ski lounge has beer on tap, the local bus stopped here.

A ski work bench in the basement would be nice

Kamihoroso is set in a stunning location. The food is excellent, the rooms comfortable and the onsen is fantastic. The staff are also very helpful and friendly, will definitely be coming back here.

The food was extraordinary and the all-wood onsen is unique, free beer in the lounge, ship-shape room, and free shuttle bus from kamifurano. Do not miss dinner or breakfast here.

Large and very well presented dinner and breakfast. Good room. Enjoyed the free drinks and snacks after dinner.

I messaged the accommodation to advise we don't eat meat. This message was not passed on, as we arrived to dinner to have wagu beef in front of us.
