It was located within the bush and trees, so it was quiet and secluded. The staff were lovely and the traditional ryokan meals for dinner and breakfast were a nice introduction to the kaseiki cuisine. It had laundry facilities and a vending machine with ice cream.

We travelled by train so it made it a bit difficult to explore Yaizu as we relied on the hotel’s shuttle service to take us to the train station, but even then, the shuttle service had limited times.

A very sincere hotel with lovely Classical Japanese hotel vibe with arcade game area (not big but fun). Dinner was very nice with decent sashimi. The onsen on top floor is great with view over the Bay Area. The bathroom was new and well maintained. Room set up is nice with a set of chairs and table with a wide window view. The lobby could be nice and I am sure they will improve it. The staff are very nice and you see they are very happy that the guests are visiting Shizuoka. Breakfast was decent.

It is a minor comment that the hotel could be even better with the colour theme and music. It has everything that it needs to be even a more premium hotel with decoration improvement. The new staff needs to learn from their more seasoned colleagues in the dining area ;-)

View is amazing. The staff is very helpful and kind. Speaking a bit of Japanese is helpful. The Onsen was very relaxing. Convenient bus that takes you too and from the train station. The entire experience feels very relaxing and authentic Also Yaizu itself is a great town to visit. Many cute shops. Definitely visit the Yaizu Sight Seeing Information center near the Yaizu train station they were very helpful and you could rent bikes.

The meal was a very cool experience but the set menu is very similar night to night. I wish I'd only gotten the hotel meal for one night and went out to eat in Yaizu other nights.

The sea view was very nice. The tatami room was very spacious. The kaiseki dinner was very rasry and plentiful, and the staff made every effort to accommodate my dietary requirements.

There was no shower/bath in the room, only toilet and sink, so you had to use the common bath. The road leading up to the hotel is a bit steep, but that's the price to pay for the view from the hilltop.

Loved my room with private onsen on balcony. There was a free shuttle from the JR station. Food was great and staff exceptional.

Had a beautiful ocean view Japanese style tatami room. We were served an INCREDIBLE dinner in the dining room while wearing yukata. Nice hot springs.

The breakfast is good although not many choices.

It is better to provide free shuttle bus to the top of the hill where the hotel is located

We liked the private bath attached to our room. It had a great view of the city and the beach.

I wish that there was an outdoor public bath.
