Kuretake Inn Premium Shizuoka Annex is an underrated gem in terms of quality. We enjoyed the excellent location, professional service and clean rooms. The offer of a bottle of Shizuoka tea for every day the room did not require cleaning is an awesome idea, as it allowed both guests and hotel to do their parts for the environment. As raved by other guests, the daily breakfast was delicious, comprising cuisines of Shizuoka, which conveniently allowed us to sample the various foods of the city. The hotel accorded us easy access to the train and bus stations, as well as a great view of the city skyline. Highly recommended.

Kuretake Inn is always a good value for money. This hotel in Shizuoka wasn't an exception: free breakfast (although it gets a bit crowded in the morning), communal bath (with sauna too), happy hours with free drinks. The room was good for a solo traveller as well. It is located some ten minutes away from Shizuoka station on foot, and there is a local train line station nearby (Hiyoshicho).

Nothing to complain about. The staff struggles with English a little bit, but they still do their best to accomodate everyone.

i passed by here in the course of a round trip through japan. honestly, i don't know exactly what brought me to shizuoka. but i can only say good things about the hotel and for me this fell into the category of "positive surprise". the hotel is within walking distance of the train station and therefore easy to reach. the lady at the reception was very friendly and straightforward. the room was very large and spacious compared to most other rooms i had in japan. the room was very affordable and i would return here again anytime.

Hotel room is quite big and good breakfast choice and nice onsen with free flow drink from 18.00 to 20.00 and some milkshake at onsen. Car park at 800 yen per day just in front of the hotel.

Quite far from station about 400 to 500m and about 1km far from shopping street.

Great value for money! Nice room with all amendments and big shower. Very good breakfast included. Helpful and nice staff who allowed us to store the luggage. The only regret was that I haven't booked more nights there.

Room was very clean, lovely green pijamas are given clean every day, plenty of amanities and overall very good value for money. Generous Japanese breakfast. A real Japanese experience.

It was a good hotel, comfortable, reasonably priced, with a v good breakfast with good, brewed coffee.

Such luxury! Great onsen, breakfast, evening snack and happy hour, post-onsen ice cream, massage chairs.. 💆‍♀️ very close to Shizuoka station. Wish I had stayed longer than one night.
