Friendly staffs, Comfortable stay and nice hotel in the city centre. We stayed (family of 5) for a night and hence we stayed here for a short time. The staffs are very friendly and nice and they exchanged one of our smoking room to the non smoking room. This was very good gesture as we were traveling with kids. The beds were comfortable and clean. In Japan, the beds are relatively small compared to European / US size. Hence the bed was just to the fit. However this is common in Japan. The hotel has a parking as well. It was full when we reached. The staffs recommended us to park the car just next to the hotel and it was just 500 Yen for 24 hours. (super cheap deal). I will definitely stay here again in this hotel. If you are a non smoker then please book a non smoking room.

The location was extremely handy to Shimizu Station, & close to waterfront, grocery store & restaurants / bars. The room had a comfortable bed, a great shower / bath (conveniently apart from the toilet & a seperate handbasin), & a TV that offered CNN Japan, which even had a little bit on English programming now and then. The breakfast buffet selection was very good, with certain menu items on rotation, to add a little variety. Coffee was good! And the restaurant staff very gracious. All staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, & helpful. The staff member who helped with our booking request (Filiberto) went out of his way to assist us. Having heard that some rooms offer views of Mt Fuji (on a clear day!), we asked if we could please have a room facing that direction, and Filiberto was able to assign us a room on one of the higher floors, facing the ocean and mountains. He mentioned that of course any Fuji views were weather-dependent, but we were lucky! The photo I’ve added was taken with my phone reaching out our window & on a lanyard, & zoomed in, but the view was lovely with the naked eye. Due to some changes in our plans, we ended up requesting 2 extra nights’ stay. The hotel was near fully booked, but the staff were able to fit us in, and even rearrange a few things, so that we didn’t have to change rooms. We would stay here again, if visiting Shimizu in future.

The decor and finishings in our room show some dating and wear, but everything was in good working order. Being right next to the train station, there is some noise which is only problematic if you keep the window open. Neither of these mattered to us, considering the location and affordable price we paid.

Clean and polite staff. I paid for breakfast and it’s the typical Japanese breakfast so don’t expect the continent breakfast spread. The only thing is that the trains run all night. I usually get awaken at 2-3am and the train sounds keep me up till 5am. It runs really frequently at night too. Like every 15-20mins? But nothing earplugs can’t fixed. Nothing much to see around the vicinity but there’s McDonald’s (and other restaurants) and welcia for basic needs. Would stay again.

Both single room and twin room were spacious than we thought. They were clean and comfortable to stay. We liked the provision of both bathtub and shower (Japanese style) which was safe for our elderly. Parking was just next to the hotel with food shops, convenient stores and health & beauty shop about 100 meter away, very convenient.

The alley to the hotel was somewhat hard to identify for people to approach by night time. A bigger and brighter sign would help.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Most spoke some English , so that was helpful. The breakfast every morning was always good and hot. The location to the train station was great. Just a very short walk. Which was very important to me. For health reasons, I am unable to walk very far.

The rooms were always clean, but they are small. The bathroom had a separate door for the toilet and separate door for the shower. There also one large door to close off the whole bathroom. We would use the large door because the toilet area was so small. The beds are also a little hard for my taste but I like a little softer bed.

Hotel is so near from Shimizu train station. Very clean. The room is spacious. Restroom is separated between bathroom & toilet, so every member of family can do their "business" at the same time. The staff was very helpful. Very recommended.

Double edged sword. Convenient because super close to the train station, Shimizu is an excellent place with delicious fresh fish and eel dishes and a cool football team! Lets go S Pulse!

Bed mattress was very comfortable and the room was clean. Although the hotel is located in front of the train station, we could get to see the beautiful mt.Fuji from the room.

There’s train station behind the hotel so if you get the room is facing to that side you’d hear the train. But if you close the window fully it won’t be that bad.

Hotel is closed by to Shimizu train station and Marinart Concert Hall. Breakfast is great and have lots of choices. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The room has good size with working desk & chair, comfortable bed.

Double Room was quite small for 2 Adults. only had x1 plug socket so could not charge x2 phones & other smartwatches. only 2 slot socket so the 3 prong travel adaptor we could not use. Room ammenities was only set for x1 person Re: slippers, toothbrush etc.
