Many different services around, with a lot of different shops and restaurants. The rooms are also quite spacious for japanese standards which made us feel very comfortable. The hotel is well connected to the train station and the port (via bus) and it's within walkable distance to the Ritsurin garden. Small and smart bonus: you can check the status of the laundry machine through your tv!

In terms of cost-benefit we were a bit disappointed. We paid almost the same amount as our hotel from Kyoto that was a lot more luxurious and with a much more comprehensive breakfast. Since we went to Takamatsu during the Triennale we assumed it was due to the demand at that time. But turns out the hotel experience was not ajusted to the Triennale at all – for example, breakfast starts way too late if you still want to catch the ferry to the art islands.

The hotel is right in the heart of Takamatsu, right next to the main shopping arcade and a big mall. There are plenty of food options nearby, including a McDonald's right downstairs if fast food is your thing! The rooms are also big and spacious

There is a car park on site which is connected to the hotel. The car park is part of the shopping mall which the hotel is located on top of. The elevator system is a bit archaic as you have to take one elevator down to the hotel lobby and switch to a different elevator which also serves the mall.

The room was clean and with a wide corridor on one side that allowed passage while keeping our luggage open. The staff was friendly and greeted us every time when we passed by the lobby. The location of hotel was also great and close to a variety of shops and restaurants.

It would be great if there was passage space next to both sides of the bed.

Very central location. Walkable to JR station and ferries to Seto inland sea islands.. Also walkable to Ritsurin garden. Good food options. Good breakfast included.

Instructions might have mentioned the hotel's reception is on the 8th floor. Found the location easily enough but from street level it is not obvious where the hotel actually is.

Great location which very convenient to take the bus around town and lots of shopping to walk to. While the room is small, at least there is a side table and anough space to leave suitcase open and still walk around the bed. And the windows were just washed and we had a great view of the distant mountains

Wish there were drawers in the room to put clothes away.

The hotel is located in a small shopping mall in the middle of the shopping street area. There are a lot of places you can walk to in the area for all sorts of different things. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You need a room key to use the elevator, making it very safe.

At night, there will be people in the area trying to approach you to go to the bar and stuff. It's best to ignore them. The smoky smell in pretty bad for the smoking room, but they provide you with a spray.

I particularly enjoyed the location; a short walk from the nearest Kotoden Station and the hotel is physically connected to the Central Takamatsu Shopping Arcades, Arriving by taxi in a rainstorm; after check-in, I was immediately able to stroll around some 2.7km of covered shopping arcades, (including luxury shops, department stores,restaurants, etc.), without the need for an umbrella. Rooms well equipped; particularly impressed by the provision of extra pillows in the room, as I need to elevate my head whilst sleeping.

The staff are superb.When I arrived I had a small problem of my own making with the reservation.The lady on the desk was a model of politeness and efficiency and resolved the matter speedily. All the staff are friendly and most helpful.

The hotel was well-located in a major shopping mall and near restaurants. It is a short bus or taxi ride from the JR station and the port. The staff was very helpful and the room had everything I needed for a 5 day stay,

The hotel reception was helpful and very accommodating in allowing us to change 2 single rooms into one double room without referring us to the 3rd party booking system to make the change. We, a group of 8 travellers really appreciate their service and professionalism in providing customer satisfaction.
