Great location right opposite the shinkansen station exit. Also the bus to Shirakawago is just outside the hotel which was very convenient. Close to a huge shopping mall which is convenient. The room was a good size and bed was comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was included and it was great that they changed the menu daily. Great value for money.

It was a bit hard to get to Takaoka station from Shin Takaoka. Minimal trains available which made it hard to get around if you wanted to go to Takaoka station.

The Toyoko INN Shin Takaokaeki hotel was located right next to a major shopping centre, tourist bus stops and the Shinkansen station. The Room was immaculate, it had most needs travelers needs included with other facilities located in the lobby The Japanese focused breakfast was delicious and the nearby 7 11 would meet any others dietary needs.

Coffee was included with breakfast but not provided for rooms. The two types of tea made up for it.

Being close to 新高岡駅 is a big plus. I also liked the free streaming services available on the TV in my room (I spent some time watching an anime on ABEMA). It gave me, as a foreigner, an idea of what kind of things are available in Japan to watch.

I would say it is a little pricy. My friend who lives in Toyama Prefecture recommended this for me which is why I chose here.

The location is very convenient and located right next to Shin Takaoka station. I was planning to visit the World Heritage Villages (Shirakawago, Ainokura and Suganuma ) and having the bus stop right next to the hotel was very convenient to plan a day trip. I haven’t tried the hotel dining services but there’re plenty of options in the nearby AEON mall which is a few minutes walk from the property. The rooms were spotless and tidy and I did not find any issue with any of their facilities. The hotel staff were very kind and friendly to accommodate my requests and I sincerely appreciate their kindness and professionalism. If I have to come back again to this region, I would definitively stay at this place.

Near to Shinkansen station and Aeon shopping more. Just across is the bus station. You can take the world heritage bus to Goyoma or Shiragawago. Nice view from hotel. Provide complimentary breakfast. Room size is reasonable with king size bed for 2 persons. Like the automated check in and out.

Prefect location, just 2-3 minutes walking distance from JR station. Spacious room which was clean and tidy. Free breakfast provided lots of choices, including Japanese and Western food. Baggage storage after check out.

Reception staffs were not so helpful

Convenient location on my way to Inami City with an easy check-in and check-out. Staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean and just right for the two of us. An added benefit was the fantastic breakfast the morning after.

Just in front Shin Takaoka station, less than a minute walk. Room are spacious enough for a short stay. Is very convenient if you plan to move by train. Breakfast and facilities also very good. Clean and new, price very reasonable.

not enough double rooms in one floor

The location of this hotel is excellent! Just in front of Shin-Takaoka station, very easy to get to a shinkansen and local train. There is bus stop for Shirakawa-go and Gokayama in front of this hotel. A big Aeon mall is also very near to the hotel. And my highlight was the view from my room, it was so amazing, really breathtaking! I didn't expect that.
