the hotel location is superb; it is only a few minutes' walk from Toyama Station, and has not only a convenience store on the first floor, but also a sushi restaurant. my stay included a breakfast ticket at that sushi restaurant, which was okay if you like Japanese food. if you're expecting Western food, prepare for odd scrambled eggs and bacon, although the bacon was decent if you're expecting it to be chewy like ham and not crispy like bacon. The staff is very friendly and works hard. the checkout process was extremely fast at the machine. the bed and pillow were generally more comfortable than other hotels with more Japanese style hard pillows. there is only one on the bed, but near the entrance in the closet, there is another pillow hid away if you need it. there was a bathtub if you like that, since there is no onsen to soak like at Dormy Inn, a competitor.

As a Westerner, the breakfast was mediocre, although the Japanese part of the breakfast was yummy. I'm not sure why the machines have a check-in option if it requires a key card to check-in, which is the entire point of checking in.

The bathroom (especially shower) was fantastic, the room was clean and the location was perfect for what we needed. The service when we first arrived which was late at night was extremely friendly. The beds were probably the most comfortable in our stay in Japan - not too firm, not too soft

We didn't get to stay at the hotel long enough as we checked in just before midnight and checked out 6am, so we really didn't get to enjoy the hotel as much as we would have liked.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, clean room, secured, lots of amenities and eateries around, near train and bus stations, shopping malls and convenient shops. Bath room is spacious with bathtub.

The standard (cheapest )double room was too small for two people. Paid extra to upgrade to a larger room as booked for two weeks reception staff very helpful to sort this out. Would have liked breakfast but too Japanese for us which is fair enough), plenty of options across the road in the Railway station area.

Breakfast was weird, in that it's in a separate restaurant in the same building which usually focuses strongly on sushi; if the prospect of firefly squid or whale sashimi on the menu for breakfast weirds you out, I would suggest not booking breakfast and buying stuff at the adjacent 7-11 instead.

As almost any Japanese hotel, cleanliness is benchmark. Smooth check in, comfy bed, ok breakfast. For a one night stay and the friendly budget really a recommendation. Location super close to train station.

Very small rooms. But this was expected. Check-out a bit bumpy since no invoice could be issued “Because I booked with booking.com”.

Hotel is a short 3 to 5 mins walk to Toyama train station, new, clean and modern. Reception staff are courteous, helpful and we are very grateful for their help to get our luggage transferred to the next hotel. The twin beds and pillows are firm and comfortable. Air con can be controlled and there are many USB points. The enclosed shower/ bath area is functional and the shower water pressure is amazing, best in all the hotels we ever stayed in. Breakfast room is big and has a wide and varied spread of local delicacies and vege/salads. Delicious food worth paying for. Used the efficient washing machine dryer (detergent included) and the 500 yen option is great for a normal load (clothes washed and dried). Liked the convenience and ability to monitor the wash status on the tv from the room. All in all a good hotel for a short stay.

As the twin room has not much walking space maybe do away with the non functional seating couch and side table near the window as it is difficult to access and use them. Do not like the kettle provided as it does not have a separate start stop knob and the wire clumsily hangs from the retractable table area. Feels unsafe combined with the cramped sitting area.

We only stayed for 24 hours, but the location made this hotel perfect for that timeframe. Being right next to the train station meant that we could catch a direct bus from the airport to the station and be less than 5 minutes away from the hotel. Then we were able to use Toyama's light rail system to get anywhere else in the city, and the shinkansen was directly accessible when it was time to leave. It made such a short stay far more enjoyable. Oh, and they have a coin operated laundry that was perfect for washing small loads of clothes before we moved on.

The room was *tiny*. Given as we were there for 24 hours it wasn't a real concern, but just be aware if you plan on staying longer than that. Also the breakfast at the attached restaurant downstairs was a bit lackluster if you want something warm - the eggs and sausage were cold, unfortunately, but the Japanese items (fish, pickles, and rice) were great.

The hotel is a fairly new hotel, has a king-size bed, and has a big shower area with a bathtub. Location is a plus point, very near to train station, a 7-11 shop downstairs and a nice sushi restaurant that is 2 mins walk, but would need to queue as is popular with the local.

Due to the spacious bathroom, the walk space between the bed is less than 1 feet...... how I wish that there is an option to choose the bathroom without the bathtub.

Great location right across for the station, meaning you had access to go wherever you wanted to right outside the door 👍 great size room, excellent shower. Nice place to spend a week as the base for our trip.
