Location to the Toyama Station perfect. Toyota Car Rental across the street. Three of us booked two rooms, a double and a single for two nights. Less cost for two rooms for two nights than one large family room for one night in Tokyo or Osaka. We arrived via Tokyo on the Shinkansen (Hokuriku Arch Passes - this rail pass does still have equal or better value going Tokyo to Osaka - on seven day basis vs tickets). Easy to get to Kurobe Gorge Railway on the same day from Tokyo. Just plan all the train links carefully. Hotel is spotless clean. Well staffed, very modern, rooms incredibly nice and based on price point completely unexpected. Everything you need is right there. Certainly would stay there again. We were only there for two nights however it was the nicest decorated and most comfortable beds on our 2+ week trip. Beautiful snow coved mountains. 10 to 15 minutes by car due south and you can see monkeys, doing monkey things in the forest - as you drive around. Quite relaxing after a week in Tokyo.

Nothing negative. We wish we could have stayed longer. It would have been great to spend a week at this hotel to explore the area.

The location is excellent, close to shopping, dining options and the railway/bus/tram station. The shopping complex across the road had good local eateries, and a very nice German bakery/cafe as well as supermarket style shopping. The hotel is modern and very well set up. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped with facilities for tea and coffee making together with a fridge. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom included a wet room with both bath and shower. It's a pity more hotels can't approach bathroom set up in this manner. The air-conditioning and re-humidifying worked perfectly. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Everything was really well done. The only small additional factor which would have been helpful is provision of a wider range of tea options. However we easily resolved this by buying a box of tea bags at the supermarket over the road.

Exceptionally friendly and professional staff. The hotel is very close to the main station, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The entire building gave us a great impression from the moment we walked in. My partner and I were raving about this place from day one and still talk about how much we enjoyed our stay. No trip to Toyama will happen without staying here again. Highly recommend.

There was a noticeable stain on the sofa in our room, though it had no smell or odor. Aside from that, everything else was perfect and we had a great stay.

The room is wider and cosy. The bathroom is big and nice with a lot amenities. The room has a coffee machine . Breakfast was nice.

It was an excellent stay. Hotel is very conveniently located less than 5 minutes walk from the JR station. Check in was efficient. Room size was good and had all the necessary amenities including some nice perks like Nespresso coffee and smart TV. Wi-Fi was fast and worked well. Breakfast was really good with mix of Japanese and Western dishes. The pastries in particular were very nice! Toyama is a peaceful and compact city - a lovely place to stay for a few days and it was convenient to get around from the hotel on the tram, visiting the canal park as well as the castle, galleries/museums and shops.

I would have preferred the sofa corner in the room be a work desk instead but it wasn’t a big problem.

About 5-10min walk from bus and train station. Has a mall just down the road. Really convenient. Room very clean, quite spacious. Amenities and hair dryer is prepared. They even have a coffee maker. TV has youtube, and can login Netflix if you have an account. Also a drinkable water available on every floor just outside of the elevator. Staff were extremely nice. Delicious breakfast too. They also let you store luggage before check in time. They Also let you store luggage overnight if you’re leaving for a day and coming back to the stay at the hotel the next day. Great and comfortable stay, will come again if have the opportunity

- a massive room, plenty of space! ( wecare now in Tokyo and the difference is astounding!) - wonderful bath tub & shower ( we want one like that at home!) - very quiet despite being in a centralised location ( only about 4 mins walk from Toyama JR station - they provide you with fresh spring water that you can refill your bottle with - lovely staff, always very friendly & helpful - comfortable bed & pillows - daily housekeeping - secure car parking available ( 1500¥ per day) - washing machine onsite- you can even check when the machine is available to use ( 600¥ for wash & dry) - very close to shopping area, and lots of dining out options nearby ( Maroot shopping centre top floor) - we made a mistake with our booking and had to add an extra day, the staff were courteous and processed our request straight away, the extra night fee was reasonable

- very few hot options for buffet breakfast, pretty much the same everyday ( western breakfast option was cold most days)

The room is very comfortable, with excellent facilities and amenities provided. Modern design, very stylish, albeit sometimes not too practical. Good location, and parking available on site.

The breakfast is severely overpriced. Although not the fault of the hotel, Toyama was also a bit lacking in, well, anything to do (at least nearby the hotel). Nightlife is pretty much non-existent in the centre of the city even during a Friday/Saturday/Holiday (at least for an uninitiated foreigner). If the hotel would have had an onsen facility, then this would have been resolved quite easily, so although the hotel was not in any way bad per say, if you were to stay in Toyama for a day (e.g. on your way to somewhere else), I would personally recommend finding accommodation with an onsen facility. Then at least you have something to do in the evening.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff members. Great room (the pictures were taken after our stay). It was organized when we arrived, of course. The shower was great 10/10 The laundry machine is wash and dry on the same machine, which is amazing, it's fully automatic, and you do not need to bring detergent. Traditional japanese breakfast, which is a nice experience but can be harsh for a foreigner.
