The accommodation here truly exceeded my expectations! This little room has everything you could need, and it's impeccably clean and tidy, with even a hint of fragrance in the air. You can feel the host's dedication to every detail, but what stands out the most, in my opinion, is their warmth. Their service is simply exceptional; they go above and beyond to help with anything you might need, which is incredibly comforting for travelers. The hosts also lead snorkeling activities, and the equipment on the boat is top-notch, with everything you could ask for, including hot barley tea! If you're interested in other tours around iriomote island, they can assist with bookings too. I highly recommend this place! It's definitely somewhere I'll revisit next time I set foot on iriomote island...

Our host was extremely helpful - secured us a booking on for a wonderful tour - canoeing and climbing to the top of Pinaisara waterfall. The Apartment suited our needs perfectly. Peaceful. Lovely view from the back patio. Comfortable bed - great for my back :) Thank you! We saw an Iriomote Cat in the wild - Amazing!! Loved the wild, unspoiled places on Iriomote. Loved Sonai Port beach - kept clean by the locals - Thank you!! We were on Iriomote in Late December and yes, the water IS warm enough to go swimming with a wetsuit top (or not, if you are my husband!) This is our third trip to Japan and we have another 2-3 already planned. Love Japan

There is very little bench space to prepare food in the kitchen area - so use the table - a solvable minor issue. Be aware though, the beaches on the Northern and Western sides of the island receive the currents from the Asian mainland meaning ocean rubbish is left on the otherwise lovely beaches. This may be less of a problem on the Southern and Eastern sides. This is not the fault of the Islanders but sadly does reflect badly on our modern lifestyles. You can Still swim there is the crystal-clear water. That said there is a lovely little beach on the South-West side in a harbour, Sonai Port which is small enough to be kept clean by the locals.

Beautiful place to enjoy Iriomote-jima! Bright room with all the amenities, amazing view from the outside terrace over the green hills and the blue sea. Short walk to the fantastic Hoshizuna beach. Owners helped us a lot to organize our stay on the island. Hope to come again!

Fantastic living unit with beautiful views. The owner was very helpful and took time to answer our questions. The property is in one of the best locations on the island. We hired a car for two days.

We went at low season and the Urachui river boat was not operating at the time we were there so we did not go trekking as intended. You need proper rain gear on the island.

The location is great, close to the beach and with a great view. Room is very well designed. The manager is amazingly useful and helpful in arranging all activities !

The space is a full apartment - washing machine, cooking utensils, oil, salt & pepper, etc.. The view from the little patio area was spectacular. The beach is very close to the apartment (walking distance). The staff is kind and supportive.

Kawajiri-san picked us up from the ferry terminal, helped us organize all our tours in English (which were even better than we had hoped for), and dropped us off at the ferry on the day we checked out. The space itself is a full apartment - washing machine, cooking utensils, oil, salt & pepper, etc.. Seems very new, bathroom was excellent. The view was also spectacular from our little patio area. You really couldn’t ask for anything else.

It’s was extremely clean and beautiful. The apartment had everything you need for a ideal vacation on this special island. The owner was extremely kind and helpful. It might be the best accommodation option on Iriomote. I highly recommend it!

Everything we need is there including the umbrellas for occasional showers! The rooms are very clean and tidy. We love the dehumidifier, which dries laundry completely overnight! We had a very comfortable stay. We’d go back again!
