Great value for money. Located 10 min from a JR station as well as the metro, it was so easy to get around Tokyo with this as our base. Rooms and communal space were very clean. Good quality shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and face wash provided in the shower rooms. Good soundproofing between rooms. Peter was incredibly helpful, we stayed here at the end of a cycle trip and he very kindly let us park our bicycles outside and let us store them somewhere once boxed up which was a lifesaver!

Rooms very small (to be expected in Tokyo at this price point). Would be nice to have a hook on the back of the door and maybe a few on the walls just to make the space a bit easier to organize.

Peter, the property’s owner, was super accomodating and friendly. We were in the triple room and it was very spacious and quiet. The hostel is located in a local suburb. Perfect for people watching and experiencing how the Japanese live. The property itself is a 5 minute walk from the train station and there’s plenty of places to eat around, as well as a small supermarket 500 metres from the property. We loved it so much we’ve already booked to stay again when we’re back in Tokyo.

Good location, 7 minutes walk from Shin-Otsuka Station. Very good communication with the staff on Booking, we wrote them a couple of times and they always responded swiftly. We had the quadruple room with shower and we loved it. It had two big futon beds, that were a bit hard, but we slept very well. One could easily open the suitcase in the space between them. There was also a big drawer that had enough storage for the backpacks. That the shower and toilet were separated was also a plus. There was everything one needs in the room: towels, toothbrush, shampoo and body soap, kettle and even a refrigerator. A microwave was in the common room. The Wi-Fi worked well too. There was also a small smoking area by the entrance, which I found good considering how scarce they are in Japan now.

The building is a bit hard to recognize, since the sign is small and can easily be overlooked at night.

Very nice owner, all signs in English as well so no problems in communication. Clean facilities

Some of the rooms at the top floor don’t have a window or they don’t open up very wide so the air can get a bit stiff but there is an AC in every room so it’s not too hot.

This is my favorite place to stay in Tokyo! ☆ The rooms and shared spaces are well-kept and clean everytime i stay. ☆ The staff is exceptional - very kind and will make sure your stay is comfortable. ☆ The location is a little less than a 10 min walk to Otsuka station where you can easily hop on JR Yamanote line. The whole area is great to explore old cafes and restaurants, and is very peaceful. I came back 3 times due to my enjoyment of this place!

The property is in a good location, close to the Yamanote train loop which makes it easy to commute, the property was clean, and check-out and check-in were easy.

The toilet and bathroom were so small, and the room itself was also small which made it hard to store luggage.

The accommodation was easy to reach via public transport from Haneda. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable.

If you have a lot of luggage, there isn’t loads of extra space in the room. For me this was fine, but it is something to bear in mind depending on how much space you may need for your things.

The place was quite comfortable, and the location was nice and quiet, but also close to the Yamanote Line.

Was not able to drop bags off in the morning, as there was no staff on site, and we could not contact them.

I was solo traveler. I didn’t want to leave my luggage to common place thats why i preferred to book hostel belle via. İt was good experience. I had arrived at midnight to hostel and i could reach out someone

We had a very nice stay! Small but comfortable room. The sfaff were kind and helpful. Quiet, pleasant neighbourhood. Close to convenience stores and laundromat. About a 10 minute walk to the train station.

Location is a bit far from main tourist areas. The showers weren't perfectly clean since i used them later in the night.
